Spacious Modern Retreat w/ Game Room, Huge Deck & Resort Access in Massanutten

Everything was very good. I would book this home again and again. It really felt like home and my entire family dnt want to leave. Loved it!

Everything was great!!! The house was clean. Everything worked as it should. Kitchen was stocked. Parking was adequate for 3 to 4 vehicles without parking on the hill or street. No outside trashcans but taking trash to the dumpster is only 5 minutes away so not an inconvenience. Location was good for all amenities at the resort. About 15 minutes to grocery store. The updates to the house were tastefully done. Only improvement would be to have more blankets and a gaming system (xbox, Playstation, etc) in the game room/garage but those arent really needed because the focus while there is on being in the outdoors. Great property and easy access in and out of the home.

This place was better than we could have imagined. Perfect for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely fell in love with Forest Haven! The property manager made the stay so easy and they accomodated our family of six including our four-legged family member. From the layout of the house, to the location on the resort, to the amenities at the house and even down to the decor and elegant artwork. Forest Haven was perfect! We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this home and this management company to my friends and family. Well Done!

This was a beautiful place. I accommodated my whole family of 9, there was even a nice high chair for the baby. It was right in the resort and that is what I liked. The only problem is the parking for 3 cars was a little tight.

It was my second time at this property and we enjoyed it. The open floor plan upstairs makes it excellent for family gathering. The house was clean and organized. I would recommend this property to anyone staying at the resort or in the Harrisonburg area.

Great house and layout for large families

Amazing property. Has everything you need for your stay. The host responded quickly to questions and requests and were more than accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home is located just a few miles from the ski slopes and was very convenient. Property was clean and well stocked. Couldn't find the portable crib and within 20 minutes of contacting the host one arrived at the door.

The communication with host was great! Very informative and stated exactly was was taking place during check -in and check-out. The amenities were amazing, house was super clean and gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked and it we felt right at home! I would not hesitate to stay here again and again!

Everything was perfect. House was exactly what we expected. Great area. Close to everything. House had everything we needed. We had brought a lot of our own stuff for cooking, just in case, but none of it was needed. Check in and out were very easy and owner was very quick to respond to anything. Highly recommend.

Great time! we were able to enjoy the nearby canoeing, the neighborhood pool, as well as doing the ridgeline hike. Wonderful time, perfect location, great house.!

The house gave us what we needed, but not knowing the area and lack of house security made it a little challenging. But overall, we were satisfied.

Really enjoyed our stay! The quiet location allowed us to unplug and unwind. There was no want for amenities as everything was provided. If we ever head back to that area, we'll most likely stay here at Kevin's place. Thanks for a great experience.

Everything was great. Plenty of supplies were provided, easy check in and check out, house was clean, nice overlook in back and in front, deer came up to the house numerous times, couldn’t even hear anything outside on decks, overall great. We did have one issue, the carpenter bees are horrific, they swarm the decks, and it doesn’t matter which one you’re on, they come, the back deck isn’t has bad but still there. If it weren’t for that excessive carpenter bee population, easy 5 star.

We loved staying here and can’t wait to stay again. Great location and home was very clean and roomy.

The listing is certainly misleading as it says “newly” built. We actually stayed in this house 5 years ago and it was not new then. The house was clean except for the living room chair and couch. They are very stained and definitely need replacing. The bedrooms also all have beds that squeak by just touching them so you can imagine how they are all night. The only other note would be the downstairs shower needs maintenance on the spout that pours out when the shower head is on. The house is in a great location though!

We had a great stay! The house was fabulous, spacious, cozy, and everything that we needed. It was super close to all the activities and easy to navigate! We had a great time, playing in the snow, spending time together, playing games, reading books! It was a great experience

Great stay! The place was very clean and provided grammar space for our 2 families! We really liked the main floor where everybody could hang out!

Our family traveled in for two nights to attend our daughters graduation from JMU. We loved how close this home was to the JMU Campus, Costco, and the Massanutten amenities. Directions were clear for checking in and out of the property and finishes, furniture, etc., was exactly as advertised online. Our family enjoyed our time together and even saw some snow the morning we checked out. Would recommend this property to other families in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at this mountain retreat! The house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The peaceful surroundings and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. The only challenge was the steep driveway, so be prepared for that if you’re visiting. Overall, we highly recommend this property and would love to return! 5/5!

Forest Haven was the perfect spot for our fall getaway. Massanutten was absolutely beautiful while we were there. The front deck was the perfect spot to take in the fall colors. The house was clean and spacious. It met all of our needs. We enjoyed playing pool in the basement. Kevin was very responsive when we had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

House exactly as pictured and was amazing. Beautiful resort with deer right in the yard. Driveway is steep but two cars fit in the garage for easy access. Beds were very comfortable but soft.

Listing is just as described and is in a nice community that offers a pool, fitness center, and golf. Kevin was very helpful and available when we needed help with the Roku. He also was kind and promptly mailed my mother's pill box she left behind. Will definitely be back.

This was one of the best rental properties that we have ever stayed at before. The house was clean, well stocked, and a fabulous location. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay in Massanutten for our family reunion. Lots to do for all age groups. Hiking, golf, swimming, water park, etc. The house was new. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time.

House was a great meeting place for our 3 families. Close to activities. Children enjoyed seeing the deer with her fawns up close. Comfortable!
