You can also walk through beautiful Drake Park along the Deschutes River to the Historical Downtown in about ten minutes. The front deck is a delightful spot to enjoy morning coffee, or retreat to the back deck for a quiet spot under the large canopy of trees.

This is a private, standalone house exclusively for guest use. The house, grounds, hot tub, and parking area are unshared. We have complete contactless check-in for the convenience and safety of our guests.

**This property also has a one bedroom, one bathroom standalone cottage adjacent to The Cumberland House that can be rented alone or in conjunction with the big house. This is great for larger families traveling together that want to be close yet have some privacy as well. Ask us about our discounts for booking both places for that memorable family vacation!

All towels, linens and bedding are included. We also leave guests a small amount of starter supplies including: toilet paper, paper towels, dish and laundry soaps, hand soaps, bath soap, shampoo, and coffee bar items mentioned above. We also provide blow dryers, iron and ironing board. Please plan accordingly to bring anything else you may wish to have with you on your trip.

Note: Guests who book this home will be required to sign an auxiliary rental packet with specific rules and information included, such as neighborhood quiet hours, check in and out time restrictions, and non-smoking policies. If you are traveling with a pet, you will also need to sign a copy of our pet rules.

    We had a wonderful stay at Cumberland House. The house was clean, open, and made for easy living. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was and also how friendly people were as we set out on the front porch. The neighborhood is situated within walking distance of the Old Mill District, Hayden Homes concert venue, numerous Bend breweries, grocery stores, etc. Easy access to the Deschutes River Trail makes for a fun way to get out and see Bend by foot and if you want to get into the water, there spots nearby to launch your own river float. Overall we had a great time and thank Home Spun for a great vacation home.

    This is a wonderful property that is extremely well managed. The property was clean, well stocked and close to everything! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Homespun LLC was a breeze to work with. We’d love to come back to the Cumberland House next time we visit Bend.

    Love the stay. The house is cozy and perfect for a small family (and a dog). We enjoyed the private and quiet neighborhood, and a benefit like the hot tub on the backyard deck. It would have been even better if the backyard has grass. The location is perfect. We can walk to the river and downtown, and just a couple blocks to Galveston Ave. We would definitely come back.

    This house was perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Close to a small park which connected to trails that went to Old Mill one way along the river and to downtown Bend the other way via a walking bridge. Although Feb/March has snowy windy weather, we had a nice time and spent time in the nice jacuzzi as well as great times with our daughter and her husband. Perfect location, quiet and cozy!!
