Perfect gathering space for my large, extended family. Plenty of parking. We have diverse winter interests -- alpine skiing, c-c skiing, ice fishing, skating, sledding, hanging out in the warmth, reading puzzles, pinochle, charades in front of the fire! -- and this location lets us indulge everyone. Roomy with ample beds/baths and quiet spaces. Kitchen and dining areas adequate for those who love to cook and big, group meals. Plenty of places for football playoff watch party (Go SEAHAWKS!).Host is VERY responsive.

Loved the place, location! Great place to stay for our ski trip

Our family of 11 had an awesome time here. The view from this property is spectacular! We spent hours on the balcony over looking the lake. The bbq was a plus. There is a firepit area where the grandkids enjoyed roasting marshmellows. This area also over looks the lake. The house is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Lots of kitchen utensil, pots, pans, grills, dishes etc. It is a short walk to lake access. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice place!

The location and access to the dock was awesome! The house worked great for our family size. We would plan to book the house every summer from now on except for the cleanliness issues. To be completely truthful the house was very dirty. We had to wipe down all the kitchen appliances when we arrived. Food smudges were on the stovetop and the oven appeared to have years of burned on food and grease The glass doors were covered with hand prints and smears. The carpets badly needed cleaning and the furniture needed wiping down from food and hand prints as well. Cleaning logs is a huge job and not one regular housekeepers have time for, but the logs were SO dusty throughout the house. The house has so much potential to be an amazing vacation rental, but the cleanliness issues really need to be addressed especially at the cost per night.

Our group is my husband's family which consists of four married couples and three singles. We enjoy the view, the multiple spaces for varied activities and conversations, and the large kitchen with room to all eat together in the dining room. The view is outstanding!We have stayed before and are already booked again for next year!

We had our annual ski trip and was a good place to stay for our large group. Plenty of parking, plenty of space inside.

The property is spacious, well appointed, and exactly as the description promises. My extended family found it perfect for a mid-winter getaway. There is plenty to occupy all ages: ice fishing, x-c and downhill skiing, ice skating and exploring Philipsburg, just hanging out at the rental working puzzles and playing hames..

We had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay, thanks!
