Perfect for enjoying all that North Devon has to offer. The kitchen is well-equipped and the breakfast bar and dining room provide ample seating. This leads into a stylish, open-plan living room with smart TV and wood burner. Double doors open out to a large patio with seating that gets sun at all times of day so it's ideal for al fresco dining! Sleeps up to 6 with 2 double bedrooms and a third twin bedroom, plus 2 bathrooms. Free private parking on drive.



The Space:

Whatever the season, this space is perfect for enjoying a trip to North Devon. In the summer months there is a large terrace that gets sun at all times of day. There is also a BBQ and outdoor seating - perfect for relaxing on warm evenings with a spot of al fresco dining! However, with a wood burner and comfortable sofa, the living room is also lovely and cosy for winter stays.



The house is well situated for exploring the surrounding area. The stunning Saunton Sands is around a 15 minute drive and famous surfing beach in Croyde only about 20 minutes. However, due to location with easy access around both sides of the estuary, Westward Ho! town and beach is also only a 15 minutes drive. Activities within the local area include surfing, hiking, shopping, sightseeing and kayaking/SUP on the nearby River Taw.



There is free parking on the drive way in front of the house for 2 vehicles. However, if you need extra space there is ample free on street parking in the surrounding streets.



Dogs are allowed with prior arrangement and a charge of £20/dog (max 2). This is also on the condition that they are kept downstairs and off any soft furnishings.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the whole property.



The Neighborhood:

The house is set on a quiet street in Newport, Barnstaple. There are several shops and a large supermarket within walking distance, plus many more a short drive away.



Other Things to Note:

The BBQ is available for use from April to October.

No smoking inside the building.

    The only negative we have was that there was no shed key to access the body boards so we had to purchase our own as the kids were looking forward to using those. We communicated this to the host but it wasnt resolved or much communication back. Also after trying every switch we came to the conclusion the garden lights didnt work but no resolution from the host which meant we couldnt sit outside in the evenings. Every other aspect about the property was very good.

    Very clean. A lovely living space with all required for a comfortable stay. Upstairs was a little more tired but perfectly adequate for our needs. A great place from which to explore the area for both walking and beaches. The loan of your surf boards was an absolute boon and really appreciated- thank you.

    We really enjoyed staying there for almost 2 weeks. Very modern interiors; super clean and close to shops and well located to get to the tourist bits of that part of the world!
