As we gathered for our family ,for our yearly get together ,this home, we chose , was not right for ten people as advertised. It was hard to gather in living area or we were not able to sit together comfortably for meals, indoor or outdoors. The screened in porch sat 6/7. And We were not told the yard was under construction lots of holes that were not covered! . Also, it would have been better “ yard fun “ if the grass had been cut. (We asked multiple times ).
The home is perfect for a family or friends group getaway. We loved the large land to run and play football. The hot tub was a great thing to have especially after kayaking and taking a quick cold swim in the lake. Take good care of the hot tub to keep it clean and warm while you’re there. The property management team is responsive and kind as well!
The house was perfect for our two families! Lakefront property with a kayak and paddleboards were great! Weather was hot so we spent all our time down at the dock and in the water. The house is in a nice quiet cover with little to no boat traffic. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Would definitely return to this property!
Great house in a great location
What a cute house! This was perfect for the 6 adults in our family. The kids bedroom in basement would be fun for 5 and older. Beds too tall for a 2 year old. We made do with a cot we brought. But loved that there were blocks and toy cars! Loved the dock and water toys and the jacuzzi was a big hit. We rented a boat from pleasant landing and it was conveniently close!
Nice house. It was a great place for our family to have a Christmas getaway.
The view of the lake and the dock itself were lovely. The yard was a bit flooded so we weren’t able to use it much, which was disappointing. We did enjoy the fire pit one day, which was nice, and the hot tub was a welcome addition in the cold weather. Occasionally out in the back yard, near the stairs, it smelled of sewage - perhaps an issue with the septic - and the bottom floor was very musty smelling. We had a good time together though, which was the whole point.
Great view of the dock and lake. If it had been warmer, I would rave about the screened porch! Hot tub was terrific, sheltered from some rain sprinkles and wind. Getting to restaurants, grocery stores was easy. Comfortable bed and VERY well stocked kitchen. It was just two of us in the off season, but the place was clearly equipped for a crowd with both indoor and outdoor fun stuff included. I would definitely come here again.
The lake house provided our group with a perfect, relaxing getaway. After purchasing some items at the local grocery store, it was possible for us to remain at the house and to enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake without ever leaving! From kayaking to paddle boarding to fishing or board games, there was always something for us to do.
My family, and friends of 8 had an enjoyable time at this venue. The house is a good size, but the living room and shared spaces are relatively small. My husband and another couple could sit comfortably on the only couch on the main floor, but no room for kids, etc. Needed more instructions for the TV and movie theatre rooms. It took us quite awhile to figure out how to get sound on the TV on the main floor and had to call Vacasa to address the same issue for the downstairs. Vacasa was great, and sent someone out. I wish there were more life vests for the adults and a bit cleaner. Strands of hair in the shower and sunroom and fridge could have been cleaned. Overall a great trip and pleasant experience.
