The cabin is really big, beautiful and clean. I really love the living room and sightseeing outside the window. This house basically has everything you need. We had 8 people and we had a lot of fun staying in the house.
We enjoyed the setting and the use of the river canoes. Host was great.
We had a large family vacation here with 11 adults a dog, and two kids. Very few places near ONP met the criteria for that large of a group and this VRBO met our needs. The property is stunning and the owners very kind. Although about 15 minutes from town, we found the location worked for the POI we wanted to see (Hoh, Rialto beach, tree of life etc.) This is an older home that could really use a deep clean, some updating and general upkeep. Cobwebs (on window sills etc.), broken handle on the sliding glass door and broken panel on the oven being the most glaring issues. It has so much potential to be a stunning home to match the property it sits on.
house was convenient to beaches and Forks. House had just enough needed repairs to make it feel like home. The animals, domestic and wild were a real joy.
We rented this property along with some out of town friends. The house was stocked, great location and loved the river access. Hosts were more than accommodating. Will definitely rent again when in the area.
Some of Appliances are very old , heater in one room was not working, Shower in one bathroom not working, There were spider nets in some corners and in Living room.
Wonderful host and location; 3 generation gathering with a variety of things to do for a family of 14 from 8 to 80; fabulous nearby beaches for walking and exploring tide pools; host was terrific and helpful; couldn't have had a better spot for us.
The view, the animals, the river, the beach proximity. Great spot on a working farm.
We had a great time at the property for our family reunion! Enjoyed the house. It was big enough for our group of 17 and was comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the yard for lawn games and the river for kayaking and the rope swing. It was close to beaches, mountain hikes and bike rides at The lake.
All went well. House spacious, view great, open spaces, complimentary fresh chicken eggs twice, well equipped in all areas, a few spiders in the basement rooms. Overall, splendid experience with easy access to the coast and all areas of Olympia National Park.
There were 9 of us at the property 4 adults and 5 kids. When we arrived, we were greeted by the host/owner who is very nice. The house is spacious and is located on a large plot of land which includes access to a river as well as various farm animals located on the property (the kids loved that). The upper floor is nice with a large dinning room and seating area next to the fireplace. However, for the price of the property I would expect the owners to address the cobweb issue that is sighted in a number of reviews, as well as ensure that each bedroom has either access to a closet or a dresser so the guests can unpack. I'm still going to rate the property as a 5 star since the overall experience was great. Thanks.
