Spacious Hamptons Oasis 3BD/2.5BA with private pool & massive desk

THINK TWICE before renting this property. Communication with the host was great, however there were many issues with my stay. I’ve used VRBO for years and never had an experience like this. My host let me know that the cleaner would still be there at check in (4pm). At 5:45 she was still there. The host allowed a late checkout on Monday so all ok. The pool was extremely dirty so let them know. The wife had someone come the next morning. There was a leak in the toilet later in the week and I had my friend fix it. On check out day there were no instructions and I asked the host what needed to be done. He said I didn’t have to “lift a finger”. I did a load of towels and stripped the beds, just to help out. They both sent me appreciative texts. Fast forward to Thursday night. The host asked where his toaster was. Fortunately I had taken pictures and sent him a picture of the kitchen, which showed the toaster. He then said there was another toaster, which I never saw. He then said that other things “could be missing”. So accused me of theft. It should be noted most of the closets and cabinets were locked, they had a car in the garage and a full fridge of food. I think they live there and only rent sporadically. They were also monitoring the home with a camera and sent a text Friday noting 3 more people arrived. I had swapped out one brother & wife for another brother & wife and didn’t know to tell them since same # of people. Would not rent again.

If I could give 11/10 or 100/10 I would. Property is gorgeous but David & Susan are better than the property! They cared about anything we asked immediately and were very helpful. We much appreciated their hospitality and generosity of soul.

My family and I were looking for a last minute getaway out of the city before the summer was over and this home was great! We loved the large bedrooms and grand living spaces as everyone had room to spread out while still being able to gather and enjoy each others company. Hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had during our stay which was very nice. Nice pool and outdoor space as well. The pool was very refreshing since it did not have a pool heater but we were still able to enjoy it for most of our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make our meals. Loved all the natural light around the house from the skylights. Overall great stay. Thank you!

My family and I had a great time at Susan and David's beautiful home! The house is just as immaculate as shown in the photos,well equipped with everything you need and more, and Susan and David are very attentive hosts. The location is very convenient to shopping and beaches. The outdoor deck and pool surrounded by nature is perfect for relaxation and grilling, a perfect retreat from the city!

My family was really able to enjoy a nice Hamptons vacation. The house is well maintained, clean and the descriptions are very accurate. It is a definite place that my family would return to.

Just wow!! Walking into Susan and David’s home, my guests and I were amazed. This incredibly spacious and bright house was the perfect getaway from the city yet still easily accessible via car, train, and bus. The beds and linens were super comfortable which made for restful nights after long days of lounging by the pool. The pool and outdoor area were fantastic, and while it was not heated, the water was still the perfect temperature especially during those crisp, sunny days. While I only had a small group with me, this home can easily fit ten folks with plenty of room to spare. One of the most beautiful features of this home is the large windows in the living room and kitchen, perfect for looking out into the wooded area around the house and spotting deer, chipmunks and even turkeys! Susan and David were quick to respond to any messages and were genuinely the most kind and knowledgeable hosts I have come across in a long time! Can’t wait to visit again!!
