Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house was even more charming in person. My kids loved the second living room and slept on that comfy couch every night. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. Although we only live 30 minutes away, we enjoyed being away from home and out in nature.

Stayed Apr 11, 2025Patrick was a great host! We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back next year. The house was very comfortable. Best grill we experienced in a rental. Sound system for big screen TV was great. The pool table was an added benefit. Thoughtful storage for your clothes and luggage.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024The grass needed to be mowed & this not being taken care of made the stickers in the grass to get all over your clothes trying to get down to the water. The air conditioner froze up due to air filters needing to be changed. They did have this up & working within a few hours. We did enjoy the house & the outside property does need a lot of attention.Patrick was very nice to talk with & he did get things taken care of.

Stayed Jun 4, 2024The property is secluded just on the edge of town. Lots of room to roam and close to everything in town. Just minutes from Fossil Rim Wildlife, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Creation Museum, and Dinosaur World. Nice deck down on the river. It's a great gathering spot.

Stayed May 31, 2024This property was ideal for our girls outing. There were multiple spacious areas for gathering together. The kitchen was well stocked with up to date appliances and the house was nicely furnished with nice large televisions in the bed rooms and living areas, unfortunately we had difficulty figuring out all the remotes. The house is on a large plot of land right on the river with a nice deck by the river. Unfortunately the view is not as awesome as it could be secondary to a area of junk between the house and the deck. ( It looks like they tore down a building resulting in piles of granite, cement etc.) We had difficulty working the grill and the host responding quickly to our questions, unfortunately we never did get it working correctly. The location is great and we were able to enjoy Glen Rose and Granberry easily.
