Spacious, Family-Friendly Lake House Retreat w/ a Private Large 2-Story Dock

Directions, access all good.House was warm, inviting and had appropriate amenities.Would go again!

Location was great, christmas tree was set up, wonderful view, quiet, nice hardwood floors and it was clean

Phenomenal location, very responsive host. The house was perfect for our entire family. We had a wonderful fall break. Having the boat launch so close and a boat dock at the property was perfect. This home felt like a home. The kids all had a blast.

This property has a lot of potential…but needs work ….. The back bedroom and living room had bugs in it and my kids wouldn’t sleep in the room so they slept in front bedroom downstairs. Also finger print marks were on the doors. In the master bedroom only one light bulb worked above the sink out of 4. The TV remote for the cable did not work in master bedroom so we had no TV, back upstairs bedroom had no cable box… and no batteries in remote. The hood above oven was loose and hanging down 1/2 inch. The walk down to the dock needs to be cleared so there are not so many rocks as my daughter fell.

The house is spacious, furniture in living room is not very comfortable. There are several sitting areas which is nice to be able to do puzzles or games. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. The path to the lake is very steep, tough for older people as it is slippery with sand, pebbles and leaves. It would be nice if the garage door opened so we could bring in groceries through the garage instead of down the path and up through the living room. The dock is large with a few chairs- the only shade is on the lower portion- we never used the top as it was too hot. Overall we had a great time- a pleasant stay.

Loved the space and floor plan. Had a wonderful time with family and friends. I hosted dinner one evening and the space was open and perfect for entertaining.

The property was very clean and accommodated our families. We were in town for a soccer showcase tournament and really were there to put our heads to bed. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Location-wise, this was perfect and only 20 minutes to the fields we were playing on. Whoever rented previously left dishes in the washer and never ran it, so they were disgusting, but not a reflection of the owner. Sometimes people just forget to press wash. The railing on the back deck is quite loose and I would not trust it if you had little ones running around but this was not an issue for us with older kids plus it is winter, and weather was too cold to be outside enjoying the lake.

We have stayed here 3 times and it is always a great experience.

As a frequent vacation renter, I have stayed at properties that were not as posted. There are a few things that a renter prefers, the property is as posted, and clean. This property actually better than the photos in the post, it is clean, a great view, nicely decorated, the post said you may see Deer, and there was Deer, We go to Ga. quite often and depending on availability would DEFINITELY stay here again, some of the requests were to remove the sheet's and put them in the Laundry room, some people may have a problem with that, I do not, it tells me the owner cares about cleanliness, It was a very nice stay.

The house and lake access were very nice. We enjoyed the open space of the house. Everything was already there, including clean bedrooms and bath, a kitchen with everything needed to cook. I would recommend the lake house to friends and family.

Nice place- trail to lake and dock both need help No cloths hangers, as simple as it seems that was an inconvenience Parking was a challenge, not much room for even 3 vehicles turn around

Our family so enjoyed the space to gather, whether on the lake, watching the deer in the back yard, to playing corn hole in the front yard, to plenty of space inside the home to reconnect. Thanks again.

Great location for our family and friends getaway! Loved the location on the lake and being able to dock our boat at the boat dock. Plenty of space for our group.

Window broken light in basement broken dishwasher the arm kept falling off, board on gangplank is broken, chairs on the deck were broken some of them, stove draw broken, glass under the small bed in basement. TV in basement not hooked up. The place was spacious and plenty of seating. It accommodated us nicely. Master bedroom was nice.
