Create house, very spacious
A lovely location with a trail system close by!
Great spacious house
House was exactly as advertised. Plenty of sleeping and gathering space. Kitchen is somewhat minimally supplied - but everything you need. Only complaint is that it wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived.
Lovely property with all the amenities. Will be back
We wanted a Vermont Country stay while we were in Vermont to experience winter and ski at Killington. We loved the location, the view and the cute little town. The home was super clean, well appointed and loved the open property outside for the snow we saw. The heat in the bathroom and the shower were a little cold for us but overall we had the best time! Thank you for opening your home to us!
My husband and I enjoyed being here during the month of February. Since there was no foliage at the time the view was quite nice. But if you come during the warmer months then I believe the leaves would obstruct that as the property is densely treed. We had a bit of a problem with the fireplace because if you had the doors open, then the smoke coming into the house was unbearable. And yes the damper was fully open and the fire was burning well enough. Perhaps the chimney needs cleaning because the draft was not great and even the logs took a while to get started. It was a bit of an issue because it is nice to be in front of a well burning and open fireplace in the winter. We had to keep the doors closed and even so, the smell of smoke was everywhere and in everything we owned. The house was nicely furnished and the king sized bed was very soft and comfortable. There is no heat in the bathroom however so it was a bit chilly. No baseboard heat, only two monitors to heat the whole two story house. There was a small space heater which we moved into the kitchen area. The kitchen was a bit outdated and the old electric stove could use replacing. One burner did not even work. The place was clean when we arrived so that was nice. I am not sure if I would rent this house again in the winter because of the issue with the fireplace. And there would be no view in the winter better months.
Beautiful location. Very nice property.
