Stayed Jul 1, 2025Loved the house overall. Some of the folded pool towels weren’t actually clean. The fridge has a very unpleasant smell that stinks up the entire first floor when opened. The AC does not work well upstairs — the rooms were very hot even with fans.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025This house was absolutely perfect for our group. So close to the village, plenty of space, and everything we could need. The bikes (with helmets) were so fun and we were able to ride everywhere easily. SHARC passes were wonderful, and the hot tub at the house was a big hit! The rooms were great and the bunk room stayed nice and dark, which was great for the kids. The checkout process was simple and straightforward. All in all, a perfect place to stay!

Stayed Jun 9, 2025The location across from the village with walking distance was fabulous! We celebrated our 20th anniversary here with the whole family. The grandkids loved the double bunkbeds with their private room. The bikes were a big hit and the paved loop at the Backwoods was a perfect place for them to ride. The large table was also a plus when we gathered to eat together. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans etc. cooking for our large group. We really hope we can come back to this rental again in the future years ahead!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Loved...village close by, hot tub, large enough house for 4 couples and extra room, older home but comfy. We brought a griddle and 9x 13 pans for our meals but found out they had everything we needed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have stayed at this home for multiple years in a row for many reasons. The location is great and walking distance to the village. The setup is perfect for families with kids from 1-18. The baby gates on the stairs are perfect for young kids and the bunk room downstairs with a living room is perfect for the older kids. Beds and furniture were in good shape and comfortable. Plenty of SHARC passes and bikes for everyone. We will definitely be back again!

Stayed Jun 12, 2024This house was spacious for our extended family and it had a great layout. We had 5 families with a total of 14 people plus 2 infants. There was enough room for the children to have their space and the grownups to be able to visit. It was within short walking distance to the Village and the kids were excited to see all the deer and fawns. We enjoyed our visit and were happy to find kids bikes and adult bikes in the garage for our use.
