Spacious Beach House located 1 Block from the Beach

The house setup is perfect for our extended family of grandparents, kids, and grandkids. Outdoor shower is wonderful. Proximity to playground and easy walk to beach are a big plus as well.

The house is well situated to the beach. It is comfortable and has most things you will need. The bedrooms are well situated, with plenty of beds. There is plenty of parking. Restaurants, parks, etc,. are accessible. A couple of qualms. As others have noted there is a lack of cleaning supplies. There is a broom and pan for sweeping now. There is a living room rug but no vacuum. No matter how well you attempt to no track sand in, some still gets tracked in and a living room rug is a magnet. The bathrooms do not have sufficient hooks or towel bars to hang bath towels. It would preferred too if the listing noted that it is necessary to purchase beach access tokens and the cost. This year it is $40, per adult, 12+, no senior discount, children need their own token but it is free. The Chadwick Beach Club does not post the per person cost online, as far as I can tell, and the cost is different than for Lavallette beaches. Tokens can only be purchased at a shack adjacent to the local real estate office, not on the beach. Also it is cash only.

Configuration of bedrooms was perfect for parents and babies to have their spaces, and grandparents could hang out downstairs. Nice kitchen and bathroom amenities, with an upstairs tub for babies. Outdoor shower was the hit of the week, and was preferred by all. Parking spaces were enough for our cars, with enough room left for kids to play outside. Location excellent for walk to beach and playground. We look forward to a re-visit next year. Summertime fun!

Cons - The property has some modern, and some out dated features. The appliances are all modern, but have not been well maintained or cleaned by the cleaning service. Similarly, the house has lovely engineered wood floors and downstairs furniture, but the comforter sets have seen better days. Upon arriving we felt the need to sweep and wash the floors and wipe out the refrigerator, but the home did not provide any means to do so. We discovered a broom with no dust pan, a broken vacuum, and a Swiffer try of floor cleaner with no cleaning pads. We used a paper plate to sweep up debris and purchased our own Swiffer pads. Lastly, for a house that sleeps 7 the coffee pot provided was a single serve and did not meet our needs. Luckily Wawa is right next door. Pros- Plenty of parking, great outdoor shower, nice outdoor furniture, close to the beach and bay.

Sleeps 10 easily. Great location. And parking is especially nice because multiple cars fit. I’m not thing missing is a microwave so need to bring microwave popcorn :-). But really perfect!
