Spacious Banyan Estates home with pools, hot tub, grill, & quick beach access

The house is absolutely beautiful! We did struggle with internet connectivity, but that may have been due in part to the storms that weekend.

House was wonderful had everything we needed. Floors and furniture needs to be cleaned better. Couldn't get the wifi to work but didn't really need it. Resort area was nice, plenty of swimming options.

This was a great home for a large group. Having 4 and a half bathrooms was fantastic. Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach/pool, and shuttles were fairly frequent if you didn’t feel like walking. There were several beach chairs provided (likely left by previous guests), but no beach towels. You can check out towels at the pool at the resort. Plenty of toilet paper/paper towels were provided, along with dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We found the interior of the home to be very clean, but the back patio could use some attention. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

We had no access to the resort amenities until check-in time at 4pm. This is something that should be clearly stated in the listing. I inquired as to whether or not there was a shuttle to take us around. Vacasa said there was no shuttle. After much discussion about renting a car, we chose not to. This was a good choice since there was, in fact, a shuttle. It is clear that Vacasa knew nothing about the home and accompanying amenities. We inquired about early check-in and the representative was extremely rude. We were told to wait for a text between 12-4 on the day of arrival. Even though we could see online that no one was staying in the house before us, they would not give us early check-in or allowed us to access the pool.The shampoo, conditioner, and body washes in the bathrooms were empty. We didn’t have a full roll of paper towels or toilet paper in the house. The fan on the outdoor patio and the bug zappers were broken. The coffee pot was badly cracked and the Keurig machine didn’t work. One of the bedrooms was missing a smoke detector that had clearly been pulled off the wall. There were two cockroaches in the home. Vacasa’s response to all of these issues was basically “too bad, so sad”. While they claimed they’d come fix some things initially, they never came. They admitted we should have gotten more toilet paper,paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to start with, but refused to give us more. We will never go through Vacasa again!

Vacasa was not willing to help us with this, so we called the front desk of the resort. They suggested we ask if the owner of the home could leave our wrist bands for the pool at the front desk. Vacasa said no, “there is no front desk”. I explained further and they still said no. I also inquired as to whether or not there was a shuttle to take us to the pool and Barefoot Landing. Vacasa told me there was no shuttle. After much discussion about renting a car, we chose not to. This was a good choice since there was, in fact, a shuttle. It is clear that Vacasa knew nothing about the home and accompanying amenities that we were renting. Vacasa clearly wasn’t interested in helping us out with accessing the pool on our first full day, so we inquired about early check-in. When calling Vacasa about early check-in, the representative was extremely rude. We were told to wait for a text between 12-4 on the day of arrival to tell us whether or not we could check in early. Even though we could see online that no one was staying in the house before us, they would not give us early check-in or put forth any effort to help us. Our plane landed at 9 and we had to wait for a text with permission to enter the home. We got one in the afternoon. While we were happy to check in earlier than 4pm, we missed half of our day waiting for this text for no reason. Clearly, the extra time they had before our check-in time wasn’t used to prepare the home for us. The shampoo, conditioner, and body washes in the bathrooms were empty. We didn’t have a full roll of paper towels or toilet paper in the house. The fan on the outdoor patio and the bug zappers were broken. The coffee pot was badly cracked in multiple places and the Keurig machine didn’t work. One of the bedrooms was missing a smoke detector that had clearly been pulled off the wall. We later found it in the laundry room in one of the cabinets. Last, but certainly not least, there were two cockroaches in the home - one in the kitchen and another in one of the bathrooms. Vacasa’s response to all of these issues was basically “too bad, so sad”. While they claimed they’d come fix some things initially, they never came. They admitted we should have gotten more toilet paper,paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to start with, but refused to give us more. We had to pay to have these items delivered because we didn’t have a car. Vacasa couldn’t have cared less about our experience. They threw out a “sorry” in response to every message and picture that I sent them to document all of the issues, but they did nothing to rectify the situation. We will never go through Vacasa again.

Wonderful, the house was perfect for us.

I traveled with a group of 5 friends for a long weekend at the beach. This house was perfect for our group as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The proximity to the beach was perfect, along with other local attractions. I highly recommend this house to friends or families looking for a comfortable vacation home.

A five-star experience! Our party of 8 were pleased with our stay! The patio was had an easily accessible outdoor kitchen with comfortable seating and a tv. The bedrooms were spacious with clean linen. There were plenty of areas throughout the house to escape to for privacy. We really like how responsive the owners were to our questions. I highly recommend this elegant home!

Absolutely love this resort! Beautiful Home!

What a great house for a large group of friends. You can't always get a house that has a bathroom for each bedroom so this was a great perk for us. It was also really close to all the things we wanted to do. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful beach house! Access to the North Beach Resort amenities were a huge bonus.

Beautiful Spacious and top-notch amenities! This rental property has everything you need for your vacation enjoyment! Icing on the cake would have been to have a swimming pool in the backyard, but the nearby amenities made up for that. Truly loved each bedroom having its own bathroom. Entertaining, spacious, beautiful, and nearby top notch amenities! Our family of 7 loved it.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th Anniversary with family. The home was absolutely beautiful so much space. Every room thoughtfully decorated. We just loved it!!

Highly recommend and we'll certainly be returning! Perfect location, very clean and each bedroom had it's own bathroom.
