This house is in desperate need of a good clean and some serious maintenance. We were unable to use the downstairs bedroom as the lock on the door was broken, instead a stick was being used to keep the door closed. There is no ceiling fans and the house is extremely hot. A very old rusty pedestal fan did nothing. The cook top is rusted out, the couches are stained and falling apart. Sliding doors had no screens, so the house was full of flies and wasps. At 800 a night, this was extremely disappointing to say the least.

A short track down to the beach, the store and the main shops in Point Lookout. There is plenty of space for a large family and secure backyard for the dogs. Inside is comfortable but not fancy, so we feel that we can relax.

Lovely big yard for our dog, close to everything - walking distance to shops at Pt Lookout or Bob's. We got a great breeze every afternoon. Only issue was in the main bedroom, lovely to see the sun come up, but it was straight over the bed with no blind, so no sleep in possible in summer.

Reviewer Comments: Had a great holiday, booked another rental for a few months later. Then the exploitation, got charged for a coffee voucher. NOT complementary but a compulsory charge. If refused same cost is added to rental.Certainly unethical probably illegal, what may have been a stunt of the white shoe brigade of the past. Not expected in this supposed enlightened age. Won't use this agency again if this requirement continues.

A bit warm when we were there so would recommend an extension cord or 2 to make sure the fans reached! Overall would highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: House was in a great location and is well designed but on arrival we found the kitchen cupboards were messy and full of dead cockroaches and dirty window and door tracks filled with dirt and dead insects. The place also had spider webs everywhere. Some furniture needs to be replaced. Mouldy seat cushions and bar stools you are unable to use due to inappropriate size. The real estate organised a cleaner promptly for a quick clean. Such a lovely home but just needs a proper clean and some new furniture.
