Our family of 5 (a couple, grandparent, and two young children, 4 and 1 years old) stayed for two weeks and felt very comfortable in this great house. Lots of amenities and hospitable touches to make you feel welcome. We found the proximity to DC as well as easy access to VA highways very convenient. Highlights were the well-stocked kitchen (a true chef’s kitchen) and the cinema room. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac (no noise from traffic) and we enjoyed evening strolls with our children. We also worked from home and found the internet and workspace setup excellent. I highly recommend this property and would book again the next time we are in the NoVa/DC area!
The greatest kitchen for excellent cooking with family & friends ever. Charming house, very easy to be a guest in & feel as relaxed as you are in your own home. Highest recommendations.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Would stay again.
We traveled to Virginia for our youngest son's graduation from Georgetown. His older siblings and family were traveling in from different areas - driving and flying. The house had easy access to the highway and DCA, and it housed all - age six months to 65 - in comfort. It was a quick drive to Georgetown - under ten minutes barring DC traffic, and fifteen minutes to DCA. Our hosts were caring, making our arrival pleasant with some thoughtful goodies, and our departure convenient. We cannot thank them enough for making our graduation weekend wonderful.
This property is well maintained and lovely. The gourmet kitchen is fabulous and is perfect for a family gathering! All the bedrooms were perfect, towels were provided in each room. The owner is a lovely man who greeted us at the door for checking in even at a late hour. He provided many amenities such as soap and shampoo. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip in the future.
This is a lovely home, very well equipped and comfortable. Nice neighborhood for walking. I would recommend this property!
An ideal spot for cooking and spending home base time with family. Couldn't have been better. Recommended for Foodies & Families everywhere!

The owner did quite a lot to accommodate our trip and assist us with our three young kids. The house is nice however there still seems to be a noticeable smell downstairs that wouldn't go away. We bought air fresheners and kept the windows open but the smell was always there. We were sleeping in the downstairs bedroom which was carpeted and had difficulty sleeping because of the smell. With new carpets and understanding where the smell is coming from and taking care of it, it would be a delightful house to stay in.
The Arlington home worked out well for our family who were in town for our son's wedding. The kitchen is the highlight of the home. It was so well stocked with serving items, utensils, small appliances, etc., great for cooking and setting up a buffet for our family and friends for a welcome gathering and brunch after the wedding. We brought many items from home with us not knowing what to expect, but didn't use all we brought. The Viking range and two beautiful wall ovens are a cook's dream. The refrigeration/freezer space was a challenge given the extensive cooking appliances available. Having two wine coolers available were extremely helpful. The dining room and table was large to accommodate our family as well as the couch and chair in there as well. It was great being able to access the porch on the front of the house from the office on the other side of the dining room wall. The rocking chairs and little tables out there were a very nice touch and provided extra seating for our guests as well as a quiet place to relax. The family rooms with large TVs and ping pong table were a great addition to the entertainment for our young guests, as well as the board games available. We did bring some lawn games to use as well but used them on the front lawn not in the back yard. The 4 bedrooms were very convenient. Master bedroom bed extremely high for me so I could have used a step stool to get up on the bed. I am 5'4. It was a challenge each night. Several of the closets had many personal items in them so we were hesitant to use them. It would be helpful if personal items could be pushed to one side as they were in the Master bedroom walk in closet. The downstairs bedroom closet couldn't be used at all for my son to hang his tuxedo and suits up because it was filled wall to ceiling. It would be helpful if some space was left available in there to use. The downstairs shower was wonderful. Great water pressure and easy to access. I used this since the shower/tub in the master bath was too difficult to get out of because it was so deep (Jacuzzi tub) and I am only 5'4. My husband at 6'1 used Master bath but warned me of the challenge of getting out. I know it sounds old but some type of grab bar might be installed as a precaution for renters. Especially since you have to climb up a step to get on the ledge of the tub and then go down into the tub. Overall the house worked out well for our family wedding weekend. The owner was very helpful, friendly & accessible.
