This property has NO history of slavery as it was built in 1949!! Walk along the brick path under the maple tree to step up to the front porch and you will feel like you have gone back in time. Decorated with an Old World style with timeless pieces from all over the world. Whatever your taste, you will feel at home in this beautiful and historic area of town. Located in the HEART of EVERYTHING, you will have easy access to all of Nashville's hot spots. This home is not just a VRBO, but a hospitality experience in a comfortable, open and private luscious setting.

I am very excited about sharing my home with you on VRBO. As you can see it is Southern Charm that meets Old World Hospitality. I have traveled extensively, having worked for Delta Air Lines for 13+ years, and acquired a taste for European and Old World comfort and warmth.

Presently I am a realtor (and would be glad to help you in that arena in any way) and have lived in my home here 30 years. I have 4 grown children, who were raised here and they loved the yard, the creek, and of course their home. We also love Nashville and feel very blessed to have lived in this location for so long. I love flea markets and antique shops and treasure finding old, eclectic, and unique pieces that you will see scattered about.

My home is 4BR/4BA and the rooms are large. If your party is smaller and needs less space, I am not opposed to renting just the downstairs which is 2BR/2BA so please don't pass my home by if this helps you.

As you will find out if you don't already know, we are close to everything. Downtown (8min), the airport (12min), Vanderbilt (7-8min), Belmont Univ (5-6 min), Lipscomb Univ (3-4min), the trendy 12th South Area (5-6 min), Green Hills (4-5 min) which includes The Green Hills Mall (the nicest mall in TN), Trader Joe's (my favorite), The Hill Center which has high end shops, Whole Foods, and many eateries. Please note that these times are WITHOUT traffic.

I do hope you will have fun in Nashville and your time in my home will be a memorable experience and not just a place to sleep. Come back soon.

House was historic and full of knickknacks, but comfortable and easy to adjust thermostat. Steep driveway, so come in at an angle. Kitchen well stocked, a big dining table that fit everyone, and nice yard for kids to play. Comfortable beds and rooms, two beds are in area between bedrooms, so no door. Kids weren’t fans of dead bugs inside bedsheets in upstairs bedrooms when we arrived.

Unique home in a great location. Owner was very kind and helpful. Just be aware that this is her primary residence. The listing says that, but I don’t think I really understood that there would be no dresser, closet, or surface space. We lived out of our suitcases on the floor because owners belongings were everywhere. House is also for sale.

The owner was very accommodating. She was willing to let us check in early. This house is in a beautiful neighborhood. Perfect for anyone wanting to avoid the mayhem of downtown Nashville on the weekend.

The owner is an extremely nice lady, but when we got ready to go to bed every bed was dirty. They had hair, lipstick, and makeup, in them. One comforter had stains that appeared to be urine stain. We tried to contact her. (This was around 11:30 pm) and got no response untill around 9:00 am the next morning. We spent 3 hours washing the beding so that we would be able to go to bed. And she charges a good cleaning fee. I would not recommend this property. Her exact response was Oh my... I don't even know how to respond she did not know how to respond to our dirty linens. I would not recommend this place.

What a fabulous property for my two sisters and 4 nieces to enjoy reuniting after 6 years and run the Nashville half marathon. Maria is such a lovely hostess! Her home is beautiful and comfortable. Pre-race dinner on the back patio was divine. So much laughter as we played cards at the large dining room table on race day evening to celebrate everyone’s success. Bed so comfy; bathrooms were clean and spacious. A quiet neighborhood, a gracious hostess and a fabulous kitchen to share meals with family. What more could one ask! I will be renting from Maria again if she will have me!

Maria was fantastic! She allowed us into her home on very short notice after a VRBO catastrophe with a prior paid reservation. The home was very spacious for our group of 8. 4 bedrooms, each with their own bath. Out in the woods, very quiet! Definitely not of modern decor, but very homelike feel. Being her everyday home, she still allowed us to use her appliances, cookware, and refrigerator. Explained everything in great detail and with behind check-out procedures so we didn't miss anything. Great communicator and would stay there again if we ever come back to town. Thank you again Maria! ?

Six college fraternity brothers were in Nashville for a football game. The property was nicely decorated and had plenty of room for the six of us to comfortably sleep. The back patio was a special treat as we spend most our time out there. The owners/hostess was extremely helpful and met us when we arrived to show us around.

Enjoyed our family gathering at this lovely property. Peaceful, welcoming, well appointed. Convenient to everything Nashville, but still with privacy. Beware the narrow, steep driveway though!

The was a wonderful property in a beautiful location. It was conveniently located to downtown but felt as if you were out of the city. Maria was a perfect host and we appreciate her sharing her home.
