Stayed Aug 4, 2018We spent a week at Robert's Retreat in August and absolutely loved it! We've been to SW Michigan twelve consecutive years and have seen several cottages, and this one exceeded our expectations. The house is fully outfitted with virtually everything you might need! We have two kids, 11 and 14, that loved the proximity to the beach (of course) but also the giant neighborhood play area one block away that includes full court basketball and kickball or wiffleball field. There is also a kids-oriented playroom there that open most nights with games and activities, and a very new looking and huge playground for the littler kids ( 12 YO I'd guess). Its a short drive into either South Haven or Saugatuck with endless things to do and excellent restaurants. Owners were very easy to communicate with when we had questions.

Stayed Jul 14, 2018Lovely home with every single amenity you could ask for. Great yard with fire pit, hammock, outside warm shower. We brought a lot of essentials with us, just in case, and didn't need to use any of them, everything you could ask for was supplied. Short walk to the tram to go down to the beach, where chairs are kept. Very happy with our choice.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family rented this property in July 2016. We had an absolutely amazing time. The house and yard are lovely. We invited our in-laws as well and with two full baths and three sleeping spaces available we had plenty of room. My kids LOVED having the playground and clubhouse right around the corner. The beach is just a short walk down the street. We visited it every day and the kids has a blast playing in the sand and waves. The outdoor shower with warm water is so convenient for washing off after the beach. We made the short drive into town on a few occasions to visit the shops, activities and restaurants. We would happily visit here again.
