Debbie was very accommodating and communication was excellent. The house supported all 10 of us and was very clean and comfortable.

Plenty of beds! Very centrally located! Be prepared for street/neighborhood noise, construction, and busy roads. House had some charm but it is older, dark and needed some updates.

We stayed here for a steer show. First a review of the home. It is a strange layout. The front door goes into a sunroom with two trundle twin beds. If you are leaving at odd times, you have to use the back door so you don’t wake people up. Bedroom 6 actually has 1 twin bed instead of the 3 that are listed. The Queen bedrooms off the living room has walls that do not touch the ceiling, so it gets loud if anyone is in the family room. And the barn door to that bedroom easily comes off the rails, so I got stuck in the room a few times and had to get help from outside. The laundry room was so hot, my son slept on the couch instead of that room. The second night and next morning there was no hot water. The owner will say we should have called her, but they got in at 10:00pm and left at 5:30am from the show. Out of courtesy, everyone just suffered through it. My husband originally booked this for he and my daughter and another family. Because the house said it slept 15 (actually only 13), we added another family and my kids and I decided to come for one night to see the steer show. We did not think to tell the owner because the house was accommodating to so many people. From now on, we will always call the owner. This is not listed on her description, or in the guest book, but she will charge an extra 25 per person. So, we were very surprised at an 450 additional charge at the end of our stay. My calculations would have been 300. She uses fuzzy math.

I was a little disappointed. When we first arrived, the AC was off. It was so hot inside. I really expected someone to have at least turned on the Air. It took about an hour to start feeling a cool down. There were bugs all over the house. We purchased breakfast items to cook. The oven did not work. The stove did and there was a toaster over that we made do with, but that was the only meal we tried to cook because of the oven. The back yard was big, but it needed to be mowed. We waded grass every time we had to take the dogs out. We made the best of the weekend, but for the cost for 3 nights I was very disappointed overall.

Communication with the property manager was great up until my credit card was run. The property was nothing like the pictures, it was very dirty, it had an odor that you could not even stand to be in the room, bugs were everywhere, two of the guests were even bitten, they were exposed nails from a falling down shed in the backyard. I called her and she would not respond to my phone calls. I emailed her and no response I would like a refund immediately. The house was 92 when we got there the ACs were cut completely off. Our check-in was 4 PM, we got there around 5:30. The property was filthy. We did not stay. We left the property and rented a hotel. I would like to be contacted by someone to discuss my refund immediately.

I absolutely love this property. There was plenty of room. It was clean. It was well put together. Everything worked as it should come and had all the amenities for us. Would 110% recommend this place to other others and if we ever do go back to Waco, definitely staying here again.

This is the first time that I cannot say I was truly happy with a property. Yes, it sleeps 15 but what is being called bedrooms is not accurate. The laundry room had a daybed tucked in the corner. And the front porch conversion into a sleeping area reminded me of a poor summer camp, it was cold with no adequate heating/cooling.Lighting and wall switches should be labeled. There were used coffee grounds still in the coffee maker and cobwebs in the kitchen cabinets. At least two rooms did not have smoke detectors. The shared bathroom did not drain well and in the master bathroom one of the light bulbs was constantly blinking or not on at all.The good news.... a huge beautiful backyard and plenty of parking.

Property was a great location close to area attractions. The house had been closed up for awhile and was dusty especially when we opened up trundle beds. The AC wasn't working so after the day warmed up it was very uncomfortable. Overall it served our group and we had a great time in Waco.

The location of the house is close to the Silos. Debbie, the host, was very helpful when we had trouble getting the lock box open. The lock box is very difficult to get open to get the key out to be able to enter the home. Ceiling fan in living room was missing light bulbs and globes. The bathroom floor is sagging by the bathtub. We tripped several times over the rug that was in the kitchen. The ends of the rug were curling up, needs to be taped down to avoid the tripping hazard. There is plenty of off street parking available.

When we checked in we all noticed several dead bugs, dirty towels in the both bathrooms, human hair on the beds, and blood stains on one of mattresses. The house has enough rooms to accommodate a large family or group.

Very bad area AC didn’t work. Home Owner gave us the wrong code to get him and failed to respond when we did get in. It was 80° in the house. We did not stay and did not get a refund. Home Owner seem to not. Care

There were dead flies on the window seals dead scorpions under the furniture dead roaches in the kitchen. I say this because they either sprayed chemicals or had a fumigater come in and we weren't told because we had older folks & a new born with us. No basic things like soap in the bathrooms paper towels and the bath towels were just crusty gross
