This beach house was exactly what my family wanted. It was large enough that everyone had their privacy and we enjoyed the ocean right from our 2 decks; one on the top level living space and one on the mid level bedroom space. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking apparatus. There were 7 bedrooms and each had its own small TV. There was a very large TV in both the living room and game room which also had a beverage fridge which was handy to the pool area. The pool and hot tub were just outside the bottom level game room which is also the passageway to the beach. A set of deck stairs leads from just outside the pool fence to the top of a dune, and walking down the dune sets you directly on a very wide, very quiet beach. We had a great week and I would highly recommend this property.

Nice home right on the beach. Walking distance to several good restaurants. Lots of room to spread out, beds were comfortable as were the new leather couches in the den. Large modern TV was great too. The pool and hot tub were dirty and not ready to go when we moved in and the AC unit didn’t work properly one night. . But the property manager was very helpful for both, with resolutions within hours. The home was in decent shape but not great, probably could use a little work to hit a 5 star rating for us—modernizing in bathrooms, get newer dryer to match new washer, and replace a couple of the older furniture pieces that were stained. A run through by someone before we moved in would have also identified quickly some of the issues we faced upon arrival. Despite minor problems still enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely found property manager very easy to work with when problems were identified.

The check in process was great with the keyless entry. The views from the house are incredible and access to the beach was easy for everyone in our family. The house needs some updating as many of the furniture pieces have broken doors and drawers and some of the furniture in the living room is covered in stains. The house was straight, but I wouldn’t call it clean. There was black mold behind one of the toilets on the second floor., hair in the tub, and a pile of sand in the pool room. We had some pest control problems every morning and late at night with giant palmetto bugs. The back door was unlocked when we got there and we never figured out how to lock the door. The rental fee was reasonable, but when I looked at the same week in 2023, I noticed the price has increased nearly doubled. I would not pay that to stay at this house.

I have been renting from Village realty since 2001. I have always been happy with the cleanliness of the rentals. I have to say that this house was lacking in this area. The bathroom on the third floor was not clean. The shower curtain was dirty and the liner was covered in mold. We exchanged this curtain with one in the bathroom downstairs. I also noticed mild on the wall with black hair clinging to the wall over the towel rack. One of the baths downstairs also had black hairs in it. The house next door to us was a village realty pet friendly house and there were 4 yipping dogs that barked all day. We said something to them twice but evidently they were use to them barking all day. Our neighbors on the other side also were bothered by them. Maybe there should be a limit to the about of animals allowed.

The location of this property was great! There were ten adults, 4 teens, and one infant in our group. We fit comfortably and had plenty of space during the needed alone time. While the pool is small, it was a nice relief from the beach. Hot tub was too hot and we couldn't control the temperature. The only down side was the lack of refrigerator space. There is only a single side-by-side fridge/freezer. For a house this large there is no way we could keep all the food and drinks cold - had to use extra coolers that we had brought along on for the drive to the beach. Ice maker in the fridge also did not work. Thankfully, there is an ice maker on the first floor - which is great! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils - just wish there was more counter space. Because we traveled 12+ hours to get to the beach, it would be a great addition to have beach chairs we could carry/use at the beach. Despite minor comments, we had a great vacation and loved the house!

we had a wonderful time staying here. we had a few set backs, like power went out in half the house, but got fixed the next day. A/C also stopped working and was blowing out heat. when we would turn it off it would turn it's self back on. Also a few missed cleaning details when we arrived. But over all my family and friends enjoyed them self and that's all that matters.
