Each home is provided with 2 guest passes which allow exclusive access to the Northstar Resort Community (a nominal charge may apply for some activities). This entails very easy access to the slopes (free shuttle available throughout the neighborhood), as well as, other amenities provided through Northstar Property Owners Association (pool, spa, tennis, fitness center).

Home Truths:
- This home has access to a community pool.
- This home does not have a BBQ due to fire safety regulations.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations.
- Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- This home does not have AC.
- There is construction going on nearby, so it may be noisy at times.
- This home has a max overnight occupancy of 6 guests and a max daytime occupancy of 9 guests.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Unauthorized parking at the Rec Center is strictly prohibited. Guests are only allowed to park while using the facilities. Any vehicle found parked all day will be subject to a fine of over $500.
- Please note: Access to the NPOA Recreation Center requires a separate fee of $10 per person, per day, and is not included with your reservation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    This condo was beautiful and better than expected. The layout was very nice inside. Super clean all the amenities you want. And just a short walk to the Northstar village. Parking could not have been easier. The unit is not too far from the parking lot so you do not have to haul your baggage very far. I would definitely stay here again.

    5 star for Avantstay staff's responsiveness and availability with the issues we had during our stay. 1 less star for issues that we had which were out of control of Avantstay and could happen in any rental. Location is excellent with free access to the Northstar shuttle (which is available at the bus stop in the parking lot and use of Northstar app), unless there's snow and HOA doesn't remove the gates according to bus drivers and neighbors. I hope that gets resolved for future guests. HOA pool, spa, gym and game room were a little bit hard to find, tucked in NE corner near gated LPOA parking lot area, near Northstar club and Timber Creek Lodge parking lot, and cost $8pp to use. Kitchen could use more eating utensils. Great that rental had slow cooker, humidifier, outdoor bbq grill. The welcome gifts from Avantstay is a nice touch.

    We checked in this property after 7 hours of driving and I found dog furs and a lot of sand or dust on the pull out bed and living room carpet. It’s clearly showed they never vacuumed before we checked in. My son ended up sleep on the floor first night. I’m a dog owner and I understand they sheds, but the amount of the fur on the bed and carpets are clearly showed they never vacuum before. I contacted property magnet for asking cleaning and they sent us cleaning crew next day but they didn’t clean the area I need them clean. You don’t want to see this after long drive and I ended up sharing queen bed with my teenager son entire stay. Imagine if you are not pet owner and check in this property after long drive.

    We enjoyed our time at this property. The kitchen and family room are great. Disliked the lack of bathroom on the main floor, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Would stay again!

    As always Northstar is a great place to stay when in the Tahoe Truckee area. This place was a nice shape and I wouldn't hesitate rebooking on my next trip out this way!

    Condo was clean, easy to find, within walking to Northstar Village and recreation center. Nice the condo provided pass for recreation center which included parking. Comfortable place and they allowed pets which we responded appreciated! The Avant team were awesome! I will rent through them again!

    To say this was one of the best properties we have stayed in is an understatement. Very clean, comfortable mattresses, great proximity to trails and very timely communication from the owner made our stay lovely. We struggle to find clean properties with comfortable mattresses and this one checked both boxes. We look forward to staying in this property very soon.
