Stayed Oct 24, 2025Wow, my review was flagged as misleading or inaccurate, only because I told the truth. Let’s try this one more time: The view was the best and only part we enjoyed. There were dead bugs in random areas but the best was the spiders hanging from the ceiling on top of the dining room table. Bathrooms either had empty or no hand soap and the master bath downstairs had mold on the shower curtain. Bed covers smelled like they’ve been put away in storage forever then just pulled and spread on the beds, which was AWESOME, not. Checkout instructions were to wash the towels, WOW am I really supposed to trust that the people before me washed them? I guess, take ur chance. We will nt be staying in a place hosted by the same company ever again, hopefully they don’t flag the truth again.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025To start, the view was AMAZING from the top of the mountain. It did take about 20 minutes to get up there with the switchbacks, but it was well worth it. The home was very comfortable. There were plenty of dishes, pots pans, etc. We absolutely loved the variety of board games, the gas fireplace and the corn hole game. Now for the reason of only 4 stars. When we arrived, the kitchen floor looked like it needed swept. There was a broom, but no dustpan. The whole lower level smelled very musty. My youngest picked his room, and the chair down there was covered with mold. There were some spots on the walls that looked like mold was growing as well. We called, and there was someone there within a few hours. They took the chair out, on our request, and cleaned the walls. We closed off that room for the remainder of the stay. There was a de-humidifer in that room, and I think had it been running regularly, there would have been no issues with the mustiness. The only other thing that we thought was strange, was one of the check out procedures. They wanted us to have the towels in the dryer before we left. I get washing them, but having to wait for the wash cycle to be done before we could leave was a bit of an inconvenience. Not to mention, leaving a dryer running in an empty house is a fire hazard. We did enjoy many things about this unit, and may consider staying there again, despite the few drawbacks.
