This property is private with a beautiful view of mountains and fields with horses. It is close to Stuart Auditorium and the lake and one could easily walk there. It is comfortable, not fancy and we enjoyed sitting on the upstairs porch. Although not centrally air conditioned, the units made it comfortable and the bedroom without a/c was cool with ceiling fan and opening window, sliding doors. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. There is good lighting especially in the bathroom. We would certainly recommend staying here with the understanding that access to the downstairs is only from outside.

This is my second time renting through Vacasa and they never disappoint. My family and I loved this cabin. My partner and I got the whole upper level while my kids got the lower level. Absolutely loved the view from the porch of the horses. Will definitely be renting again in the future.

My reservation was for July 9 through July 13 for business at Lake Junaluska, NC. I arrived at 4:30 pm EST and text the Vacasa number that I received my confirmation from that I had arrived. The Vacasa representative (503-213-6950) text me back asking how clean the home was. 1. Rugs in the living room and dining area were dirty and not been vacuumed. 2. Only one window for cabin in one bedroom. It was not adequate to get the room below 78 while the rest of the cabin was hot. 3. Bed had hair and dirt on the sheets and pillow, along with a flea-sized bug in the bed, which jumped to two different places. Second bed in the other room had hair and dirt there as well. I was obvious that the sheets had not been washed and that the bed was simply made up. 4. The tub had scum on the sides. 5. Kitchen trash had watermelon rind/trash left in it, along with bugs flying out. 6. An awful, putrid smell coming from the sink disposal. 7. Coffee pot was dirty and a dish still had food particles on it. I left and did not stay one night. I went to motel. I have pictures, reservation confirmation, and text message conversation available to back up my Review. I am requesting a reimbursement to my card, which I will make available upon your response. I have had no luck in getting any response back thus far. Thank you. Mike Pearson 251-275-6543 ds.mikepearson@gmail.com

The cabin was comfortable and surprisingly well stocked with paper products, plastic bags, hand soaps, clothes and dish detergent. Be aware that the two stories are only connected by outdoor stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us but you would not be able to let younger kids stay down there by themselves, but it’s perfect for older teens or older parents.
