Easy, friendly communication. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfy. The quick walk to the beach was convenient and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again. ?

We loved this cabin. Quiet neighborhood in the woods. Walkable (1 mile?) to wonderful Chambers Landing pool and private beach which also has a grill. Great lay-out of the cabin for my 3 grown children and granddaughter. Comfortable mattresses with plenty of linens and beach towels, even small beach chairs included. A great, new and baby-proof deck for meals outside. Laurel was the most attentive owner we've encountered. The cabin has a few squeaky floors and older cabinets, but it has remodeled bathrooms, rugs, washer/dryer and large TVs. Great water pressure. The family room furniture was very comfortable. It was very clean. Plenty of supplies to get you by till you can shop at the Safeway about 5 miles up in Tahoe City. Thanks Laurel, we will rent there again.

Our family had a fantastic stay in this lovely cabin, the spacious deck was perfect for eating breakfast and dinners. Close enough to walk to chambers beach, bike trails, hiking trails!

Our family with two children thought our experience was great! Plenty to do including access to the beach and close to everything.

We had family in town from the midwest. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. There were 7 of us total and we had a 2 year old with us, familiar with stairs, so wasn't a problem. Plenty of room for all of us, even to get away from each other briefly. Rained all day the day after we arrived, so we hunkered inside and played games all day. Some, we provided, but there was a large variety on site. Host was very accommodating and easy to reach and communicate with. Walked the neighborhood and found some snow to use the provided sleds in and the beach is very near as well. Overall, we all enjoyed our brief stay!

We spent a few days recently with family friends and 4 teenagers. The house is a perfect mountain getaway, it is tucked away in a beautiful little neighborhood that is walking distance from the lake. We thoroughly made use of and enjoyed the beach club access and the large amazing deck off of the house! The house came fully equipped with all that we needed- including the appropriate tech that allowed us access to watch some of the Olympics. I would book this VRBO again, the host was so friendly and accommodating and you really can’t beat the location!

A very relaxing stay. Close enough to walk to the lake, stores, restaurant, but still quiet and peaceful.

We loved the location and access to chambers. The amenities were great and it was a spacious place. Laurel was very nice and communicative. Our only issue was the cleanliness; there was dog hair everywhere & dog odor on the bottom floor.

Everything was as advertised. Access and proximity to members only beach and pool made the stay relaxing and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful weekend in West shore. The weather was gorgeous and the kids had so much snow to play in without us worrying about the road conditions. Having Homewood three minutes away was such a nice convenience.
