Smith Mountain Lake luxury, Dog-friendly, WIFI, pooltable, hot tub, kayaks, dock

HOuse was well equipped for family group of 8 for dinners.the teens really enjoyed the hot tub and lake. the entire family enjoyed evening games together. A great family time for all.

This is our second stay at the property. We loved the updated bathrooms and new furniture in the basement. We used the kayaks and life vests. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, and sharp knives Multiple living areas were great for 10 people to spread out. Beds and pillows were comfortable 20 minutes to a large grocery store.

The host was very helpful and accessible. The best feature of the house, in our opinion, is the location. Being on the water with a deck to use while enjoying the view was appreciated.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views. Enjoyed the fire pit, kayaks and game room! Hopefully next time will be for longer! Such a wonderful place!

Great place to stay on the lake

Very nice comfortable house with beautiful view of the lake.We took advantage of the boat dock for docking our boat, and fishing. We also used the available paddleboards and kayaks. The downstairs game room provided additional activities in the evening.The weather was beautiful and we all had a great time at our family reunion.

It was a great week with the whole family. Check in process was excellent...and the house did not disappoint. We wouldn't hesitate to rent here again. The property owners are terrific.

Absolutely wonderful vacation with my extended family (10 humans and 2 dogs). The house is perfect with 6 BRs (5 of them with King Beds) and 4 full bathrooms. It was super clean and the kitchen has all the items you need to cook for large groups. The large front and back yards are perfect for the dogs to run around. The dock is well suited for a rental boat and the cove that the house is located is quiet and serene. We enjoyed fires at the fire pit almost every night. We loved this property and would definitely rent again. Highly recommend for large extended families!

Rental process and communication with host/owner was excellent. House space, furnishings etc provided ample space nd comfort for our family group of 12 ranging in age from 9-75.

Our family of 12 and 3 dogs stayed here in June. We had perfect weather. Kimberly and Eric are so efficient and prompt to answer any and all questions. The house is a gem! Tons of room: very large and well equipped kitchen. We even had a 'fireman's complete breakfast and had equipment for all the fixin's. The dining room table fit our entire family for eating and game playing. The extra fridges were perfect for drinks and snacks. The beds/sheets were a dream. We loved your newly remodeled bathrooms. The water pressure was excellent. We shared most of our time outside in the large yard, deck with a great view of the lake( my zone for morning quiet, gratitude time), and the covered dock with all the 'toys' was the zone you could find us in the day.This place is a short distance to restaurants and golfing. The firepit( with wood included) was our hangout at night. Perfect! It is right next to the lake and it was excellent to wind down after a fun-filled day of playing.We are definitely making this our annual get together zone. Thanks so much to Kimberly and Eric for putting all their positive, happy energy into this comfortable home.

Great spot for our family trip. Convenient location to rent a boat at Mitchell’s marina and even played pickleball on the court there! SML is beautiful!

Spacious. Plenty of room for family to spread out. Enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and eating in the large dining room while watching the deer. Easy access to the lake. Dock was great for swimming and relaxing.

Everything was FANTASTIC We can’t wait to go back next summer!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the property while visiting the area for our daughter's college graduation. The house had several amenities, to include a great selection of games to entertain the teenagers. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend the property to others.

This property was exceptionally clean and lacking nothing. I have never been in a place so well stocked with dishes, pans, toaster, coffee maker, so many spices and just everything we could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together with family. It was also nice that we could take our dogs. They loved walking down to the water.

Enjoyed meeting up with family to celebrate Christmas. Big bedrooms and lay out worked well for our group. Kitchen was well equipped and having the 2nd fridge & oven in the basement was handy. We would have enjoyed some Christmas decorations in the house but that’s the only negative.

I booked this place for Thanksgiving weekend with my extended family. The home is ideal for larger groups, providing a wonderful retreat by the lake. It's packed with amenities designed to enhance your experience, showcasing the owners' dedication to guest satisfaction. For example, there are at least six TVs scattered throughout the bedrooms and main living spaces. We found the two separate kitchens extremely useful while preparing our Thanksgiving feast. The entertainment zone includes pool, shuffleboard, and arcade games, ensuring there's never a dull moment. The house is situated on a beautiful cove, with the backyard sloping gently down to a dock on the lake. The high-speed Wi-Fi was both reliable and fast, enhancing our TV experience with access to cable and all streaming services. Everyone could watch their favorite college football games over the weekend. A final note: we did encounter a minor issue with a faulty TV, but thanks to the EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION from the owners, it was resolved swiftly. I felt genuinely cared for, as if they were treating me with the same respect they'd expect as tenants. I can't emphasize enough how important and appreciated this was. They are truly great people to work with!

We gathered with our 4 grown children and their families and had a wonderful stay! Beautiful and fully stocked house and the owners were quick to respond! Only issue was we had to come home

Our stay was excellent. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for our multi-family group. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive when we had questions. The dock and swimming area were wonderful. The covered porch also provided a comfortable place to gather, eat, and enjoy the views.

Awesome home with plenty of space, open areas, and in a no-wake zone which is perfect. The deck and dock are ideal for family gatherings. Great hosts, very responsive and look forward to coming back.

The house was perfect for our family which was 9 adults and a 10 month old and 2 dogs! We rented a pontoon boat and were out on it everyday! The baby loved it and so did the dogs!! Weather was perfect except for one rainy day. We did not want to come home. Kimmie was awesome, responded to my many questions quickly and went above and beyond providing items for the house that I asked about!! We would come back again, for sure!!!
