We enjoyed our stay!

Nice little place; reasonable price. We decided to try it because the hotels were gouging with twice the cost over the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised…very clean and much nicer than a hotel room. A fun cabin feel. The owner and host is very friendly and communicated well. Would definitely recommend.

The layout (beds, floorplan) and kitchen dishware were perfect for six people despite the small size of the home. Easy parking as well.

We actually had to cancel because of weather, However the host is Most Amazing!! He was very understanding and we worked out an arrangement for a future stay, even offered me a free night if I came and got stuck for a day because of weather!! 5 Stars all day long!!

Very cute place in town. Bed was comfortable, nice quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed for our couple of days in town. Host was friendly and available when we needed. Only thing better would've been some closet space or hooks in the smaller bedroom. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

This was a great little house that met our needs. The host was wonderful with communication, as well as making sure the driveway and sidewalk was clear of snow. We'd definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfy! Was a perfect place to stay close to everything. And the beds where iffy at first never slept on a memory foam type mattress but when woke up had no back ache and slept well. Little house had everything needed in it no complaints from us!!!

This was the perfect little home for a weekend away with my daughter's young family of four. It was clean and organized, easy to get to, and had the basic amenities we needed. Our host, David, was wonderful to work with... very responsive to messages and questions. Check and and out was a breeze! I'd definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed this small home. Was just 6 blocks from main street for shopping and there is a nice park. Worked for our group. Cute, clean, nice bedroom setup. My only awareness comment is that there is not a full dining table, we ended up eating in the chair and 2 person sofa. Worked well for conversation and small crafts, but not ideal for playing board games. Host was awesome to work with.

For such a compact unit, the inside feels surprisingly spacious and open. Everything was spotless - almost like new, and it’s clear the owner puts great care into keeping the place in excellent condition. The in-bathroom washer and dryer were a welcome bonus, something you usually only find in larger homes. The location was also convenient, just 7–10 minutes from the boat ramps, which is perfect for anyone eager to get outdoors. I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

We were in Alexandria for a Cousin-Palooza family reunion. This VRBO was the perfect place for us. It provided us with a nice, clean getaway from the hustle and bustle of the reunion and yet it was close to everything that we needed. And it is so close to some of the beautiful parts of Alexandria such as Noonan's Park. It was perfect for us!

Spotless, owner thought of everything, no issues, close to grocery store, downtown, restaurants and winery. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is the perfect little house for a visit to Alexandria. It's all remodeled, very clean, and David is a great host. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here for a short get away with our family of 4. Having a separate bedroom for the kids was great. Smart TVs in both bedrooms was appreciated. We got a lot of snow during our stay, owner was good about snow removal. Kitchen was small but adequate for making some simple meals. A few things that would be useful additions to the kitchen equipment: a set of measuring cups, a bigger pot, and a colander. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here if we travel to the area again. More space and less expensive than a hotel room!

This house was perfect for our women's getaway. It was clean, comfortable, adequately supplied with kitchen utensils and bathroom towels. The location of the house enabled us to get to the various activities we attended quickly, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. One suggestion would be to have a slightly larger kitchen table for guests to eat at or play games. If we stay in the Alexandria area in the future, we will definitely book this house again. Thanks for a fun weekend!

Cute place that met our needs for a long weekend in Alexandria. There were three ladies sharing this house and worked perfect having 3 beds. Cheaper than a hotel and plenty more space to spread out. Kitchen had all the essentials we needed. We had a snow/ice storm and owner was prompt in shoveling as well, appreciate it!

Manager was very friendly and quick to respond. Location was easy to find and in a good location. It was very clean and nicely decorated.

I was coming to Alexandria for an ice fishing trip and needed a place where I had a place to park a truck with a trailer, plus a second car, and enough room to house 6 people. This place checked all the boxes. Not only that, but it was also the most affordable place too.

We were in Alexandria for my son’s hockey tournament and wanted a little more space than a hotel room. It’s a very small but VERY CLEAN property. We had a minor issue with the WiFi but David responded quickly to help trouble shoot it. We had a cold first night, but figured the heating system out and had no further issues. We had an excellent experience overall!

This was the perfect little home for our stay in Alex. David was great to work with, he had left us a pack and play and high chair for our baby with was very thoughtful and handy. He also came and shoveled the sidewalk when it snowed which was very much appreciated. House is clean, the temperature does vary throughout the house but it did not affect us and our stay was still comfortable.

This property is exactly as described in the listing. It was a great location. The property is nice and cozy. Communication with the owner was great! The only improvement could be the heat situation. The furnace was in the smaller bedroom and a small space heater was in the larger room. It led to one person being very warm and the others somewhat chilly.

We have stayed in a number of places before and this was the cleanest place of them all. David was so accommodating to us too when we had some hiccups on our end. We loved our stay in this little house right in the heart of Alexandria!

Our stay in David’s VRBO was fantastic! Everything was immaculately clean, house was as portrayed, and was perfect for our long weekend in Alexandria. We were located just a few minutes from Broadway and close to other highlights in the area. We would highly recommend this house. Thank you David for such a great place to enjoy for a few days!

Worked great for us

We had a great stay. This location was exactly what we wanted and needed. I would highly recommend to anyone who feels this would fit their needs based on the pictures.

We were in town for the weekend to drop our son off at school. This was a great home base. Just the right size for two people, but can can sleep 5-6 people easily. Convenient drive to anywhere you want to go in Alexandria. Very clean, comfortable beds, and lots of hot water. We hope it's available next time we're back!

I was in town for work and was hoping for a quiet spot relax after long days -- this little house was just what I needed in a quiet neighborhood!

This is my second stay with this host and I will return for another week in August. The house is very comfortable for a weeks stay and is minutes away from everything you need.
