Stayed Jan 17, 2025Location was great. Clean! Stairs can be tricky hazard for younger kids - small kids can fit through railings & stairs.Only 1 towel per person. Bring towels to help with snow melt inside.

Stayed Dec 28, 2023Sleeps 10 but only big enough for 5 or 6. First night could not flush toilets nor shower. We ended up fixing the problem day 2. Paid a bunch of money nitely and they said we will get a credit of $40 for 2 days. Stay away from this place and Vacasa.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cozy cabin has so many amenities and charm to it! The spiral staircases and balconies are delightful and allow for a wonderful view from any area in the house. The slopes are an easy walk from the home which is a huge bonus and the view of the slopes at night is unbeatable. We enjoyed warming up with the wood burning fireplace after our days out in the snow, however, the heaters in this cabin put out plenty of heat and we had no problems staying warm in 13 degree weather (-7 with the windshield). There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms throughout the home, so you can share the space with friends or family without sacrificing your privacy. We didn't have any kiddos on this trip but the bunk beds and loft area could have entertained them. The full sized kitchen is stocked with a coffee pot, Keurig machine, instapot, crockpot, and plenty of drinking glasses, plates, utensils and a dishwasher so you can enjoy home cooked meals or you can walk across the street for some delicious Mexican food and margaritas. The local store and other tasty restaurants are a quick drive or nice walk away, so the proximity of this cabin to essentially anywhere you’d need to go is unbeatable! Private parking areas have reflective stakes which was golden when the snow covered the gavel parking areas. The front porch is set up with an area to set your board or ski's, once you walk in the front door there is plenty of room to hang your gear. We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin and will definitely be returning!

Stayed Dec 30, 2021Greetings - We have never provided feedback before on a VRBO location, but are in this instance. It was our fault for booking to close to the New Year's holiday and it explains why this place was available and at such a high price. Regardless, here's our review that will hopefully help guests in the future. We will be gentle on this review, but for anyone hoping to stay at Beech Mountain with families there are some things about this experience that were quite frustrating. Let's start with the 4:30 Check-In. Yep, that didn't happen. They had an issue with the cleaning person so when we delayed and showed up at 6:30, the girl (she was nice) was still there cleaning. The floors were so dirty and the beds weren't made. The home itself was archaic. Greet location and bones for a house, but the furniture was terrible (main couch had broken springs). Stains on the bluish carpet from 1960. A random bedroom dresser was location in front of the kitchen and all the beds were hard. Think more frat house where all the furniture is just thrown in because it was free. The coffee pot was likely 40 years old...maybe older. Morning one - there was no hot water, we had to reset the breaker. Also, the most important note is that if you plan on staying at this home, there is only one way to the main floor and that is a super tight spiral stair case. It's tight so with luggage and tubs it's hard to get up there. We could go on with more, but we strongly urge the ownership to remodel this home, update it and make it something that is up to 2022. We could update this home for $5000. They could make it special.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location was good and the house was roomy. Parking for four cars was tight. The kitchen/den area was on second floor. The only way up was a spiral staircase which made it difficult to take supplies up. There’s a fireplace but gas logs would have been better on that floor level
