My 75 year old mother in law and her friends had the BEST time celebrating her birthday. The house was phenomenal and comfortable. This house was a 10/10.

Wonderful lakeside retreat. Nice location in state park. Responsive property manager helped with any issues. Great space for our family gathering.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful house. Could use a good cleaning especially the exterior windows. Many spider webs on the windows and spiders. Master shower was very slow to drain. You were standing in a deep puddle by the time you were done. Would rent again.

The lake views are amazing and the property is immaculate. Would recommend to anyone looking for a large group getaway.

This was the perfect location to celebrate our Grandmother’s 100th birthday! The house and property perfectly accommodated our very large family and we enjoyed every amenity it had to offer. It truly has everything you could ever need. Our family loved spending time at the beach just a short drive away from the house and were able to create the sweetest memories! Communication with Susan, the property manager, was top-notch and she made our stay absolutely seamless! She worked with us to accommodate every single one of our needs. Could not recommend this property enough! Huge thanks to Jack and Susan for making this special weekend happen for our grandma and family! If you’re looking for your next family getaway/reunion, look no further!

We had a fabulous time at this property! Lots of space for our group of 13 adults and 2 kiddos. Susan was fantastic and easy to communicate with and answered questions quickly! Would definitely come back in the future

Beautiful location and very well equipped The adults enjoyed comfortable bedrooms and the kids had a blast sleeping in the theatre room. We all enjoyed fishing, hiking and boating right off the property. Susan, , the manager, was gracious & available for any questions or concerns. Good job to all that make this place a stellar choice

Very nice home! Everything you need for kitchen is there. Big table for large family meals. Very convenient to have linens and towels provided. Host was very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a fabulous time! House was great, plenty big for the family. Movie room was fun. No complaints. We would definitely book this house again.

Stay was amazing. We had a large group of teenagers that we were exploring the area with. It was close enought to Charlotte and Davidson College that we could easily access everything. At the same time it was spacious enough and provide ample oppurtunity to keep correctly engage teenagers when back on property. Owner/property manager was great as well. She checked in frequently and made sure we had everything needed.

We really enjoyed our time at the Lakefront Mansion! The house is well thought out as long as you are young enough for all of the stairs. Kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms plentiful and of good size. The view of the lake and the provided boats made it so relaxing.

It was good. The bench seating was an issue for 9 men sitting for hours playing cards. Would have liked to had chairs with backs. Overall, it was good. Great out door grills. Lots of outdoors seating.

Great family New Year getaway

Great place to host family and friends for daughters' graduation. Plenty of space for everyone.

This is the firat time we have gone away but our family has grown and could no longer fit in our house. This was perfect! Everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms. We all hung out in the top floor, played games, watched movies. We took the grandchildren on a one mile walk at the lake while the big kids hiked. The owners even put up a Christmas tree for us! I selected this property for having a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of eight guys. We enjoyed the privacy and comfort of individual rooms, as well as the collegiality of the pool room and theater. The property manager was extremely prompt and complete in her communication.

We had our annual family vacation here with our children and their kids. The home more than accommodated us. We enjoyed movie nights in the movie theater, kayaking on the lake, playing games, and many meals around the large dining table together. Great communication with Susan (host), who made sure we had everything we needed and promptly responded to any question we had. Thank you!

Had a great stay! The house is so big. Had everything we needed. Susan was great!!! Had to leave a day early because of hurricane but still amazing time!!!

Everything was very clean, property manager was very helpful. Enjoyed being in Lake Norman State Park. We hiked in the morning and took boat rides on rented boat in the afternoon.

We had a wonderful week with friends. It’s a well kept, huge house with plenty of space. It was the perfect opportunity to put electronics away and enjoy time together. If you are looking to work remotely or use the internet regularly this might not be the place for you as there is limited cell service and week Wi-Fi.

Half of our family lives in New York and the other half in Florida so we were looking for something in the middle. We found this gem smack dab in the middle! Big enough for all and Susan was so super helpful. She even came over and took pictures of our group of 18 so we could all be in it and there was no place to prop up a camera!! We had a blast and have no complaints.

Multi generational family gathered from three parts of the US to spend time together. We enjoyed the lake every day as well as the nearby State Park. Jet skiing, kayaking and floating in the lake were our preferred activities.

We had our annual family vacation at this home and it was awesome! The entire family loved it. Each family had a floor to themselves and that was definitely a plus. The property is beautiful and the home is huge. We truly enjoyed our stay. I do have to say, the older I get the harder it is to climb the stairs from the lake to the house, but I am grateful for each resting spot made available. The house manager is excellent and very responsive with any questions we had.

We had a wonderful time at the house. The only thing was the bugs inside at night. Other than that we had people swim in the lake, enjoyed the scenery
