Clean, all cooking needs are there, giant fire pit!
A clean little home with a view! There was plenty to do both at the home and in the surrounding town. Jason has the house well stocked and is quick to respond if you need anything. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. Overall a very nice little cottage on a quiet lake. Beautiful views and property. The kitchen could have used a few more tools and cookware, but we were able to figure it out.
This lake house was great. So many amenities to keep everybody busy and happy for the whole stay. The grandkids (5 and 6) had a blast and the grownups had plenty to do and not be on top of each other. The lake was quiet and mostly unused by others. Fishing was so/so but not bad. There is a spider that lives on the end of the dock - we named him George. He owns the dock past 9pm and is not afraid to let you know this. Our beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and having laundry on site was amazing. Location was super close to both Grayling and Gaylord. Easy access to I-75.
The lake house was very nice and clean. I was a little nervous with only having 1 bathroom for 10 people but it worked out better than I had expected. Loved having the kayaks & paddle boards to go out on the lake. The kids loved swimming & fishing the most. Good location to go to Mackinaw Island. It was only an hour drive to the ferry. Would definitely stay here again!
Our annual sisters trip was a success! Everything we needed to relax and rest was here and to have access to the lake right from our yard was the best. Very clean lake and stores were close enough if we needed something. Would definitely go back.
My husband and I took our daughter and 4 grandkids here for a 3 night stay and it was wonderful. Plenty for everyone to do. Lots to do in Gaylord and a Town Park is right up the road. A very nice getaway.
The house was quaint and right on the water of a gorgeous lake. The house had everything we needed and wanted. The owner was very responsive to questions and was great to work with. We are already planning our return visit, this time with the kids.
This was our second time staying at this property. We love that it is right on the lakefront, but also has a rustic wooded area with a fire pit. It is very private and quiet here on this lake. We stayed here with 12 of my family members, 7 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of sleeping room, and something to do for everyone. There were kayaks, and paddle boards. The private Sandy beach is great for kids to play. There is a dock for fishing. We brought our own poles, life jackets, etc but there was also a great supply available at the house for your use if needed. The fire pit area is great and has plenty of seating for a large group. We also love the large covered porch area. Even on a rainy day you can still sit outside and not get wet. Anything you need is there and available to use. There is a large playground just down the road too. Jason, the host was amazing to work with and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We just love the setting of this house and all of the surroundings and would to return for a third year.
We stayed for a week. I loved this house. The lake was right there and the toys to play on it kept my kids entertained for days. The neighbors were also delightful and friendly. For me, I loved to sit outside in the early morning with a coffee and book and enjoy the early morning view. Also great places to walk. My kids also enjoyed the nearby park too. I didn't want to leave. This tops the list of cabin getaway on a lake, private, spacious, fun... the works.
Our recent stay at this VRBO property exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the rental. The location, right on the water's edge, provided unparalleled convenience for water activities. With kayaks and stand-up paddleboards readily available, we had a blast exploring the crystal-clear, no-wake lake. The owner was an absolute delight to work with. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot-on, making our vacation even more memorable. When we needed a break from the water, we found plenty of entertainment options indoors. The ping pong table provided hours of friendly competition, and the assortment of board games added a fun element to our evenings. The highlight of the property, however, were the stunning balconies overlooking the lake. Whether we were sipping our morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset, the breathtaking views and serenity of the surroundings were truly awe-inspiring. Overall, we cannot recommend this VRBO property enough. Clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located, it offers an unforgettable vacation experience. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or a peaceful retreat, this rental ticks all the boxes. Don't hesitate to book your stay here – you won't be disappointed!!!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cottage. The location of the cottage is great! It is private and secluded but close enough to the town of Gaylord. The cottage is clean and cozy. The view of the lake is beautiful and is great for fishing and loon watching. We absolutely loved this place and hope to be back again.
If you rent this property you will not be disappointed!! We stayed here for a week with extended family (9 people) and slept comfortably, the lake is perfect for children as its not to large and kids can enjoy it without you worrying. We fished, went swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, had a camp fire, grilled out, played games and relaxed. We also visted mackinaw city (55 minutes away) and torch lake twice (40 minute drive). Over all this vacation is one for the books we all had a blast. Jason is the host and i do believe he might be the best host ive ever had, if i had a question he replied within minutes. Thank you for renting us your beautiful home!
This house was a great place to stay when you are looking for a laid back vacation spot! Our small children loved the beach and the kayaks/paddle boards. The area has great natural shade where we were able to place our infants to enjoy the outside without risk of sunburn. The location was secluded and had tons of lakes around. I would definitely consider coming back!
We loved the cabin and the location. Hope to return in the future. :)
