Ski On/Off at the Sunrise Mountain Chalet

Our Ski On/Ski Off townhome is your gateway to the great outdoors. If you ski or board, you can access the biggest mountain in the east right from the front door! For those of you who don’t, trek down to Falls Brooks Commons to gear up on complimentary snowshoeing and cross-country skiing gear. And when you need a break from the cold, nestle up next to our wood-burning fireplace.
The space
Our three-story, 2,200 square foot townhome welcomes you with an entranceway containing twoclosets where you can conveniently store your jackets, boots, skis, boards, or any other gear! The lower level has two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds and the other with two sets of bunk beds. This level has a large bathroom, a personal sauna, and a washer/dryer. The main floor features another “bedroom,” a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living area, and a private deck. This “bedroom” on the main floor can serve any purpose you want: it has a pullout couch for additional sleeping; it has the couch and a TV (HDMI compatible) to potentially serve as an extra living area; and it has a desk for any work you may need to do while you stay here. The living area can accommodate and entertain a large crowd with the 65” flat screen tv with smart TV capabilities, surround system, Hi-speed WiFi and a gorgeous wood-burning brick fireplace. The third floor master suite with queen bed has a private full bathroom, jacuzzi and private balcony.

In the winter months, our townhouse is truly ski on/off. You can access the slope by simply walking up the stairs and cross the small parking area. From there, you can access Sundog Trail and the Sunrise Village Triple Chair. And when you want to ski home for lunch or the end of the day, you can take Sundog Trail back home!

In the summer months, guests have access to hiking trails regularly maintained by the HOA an outdoor pool, and a patio with a barbecue and a fire pit. There are also many hiking trails maintained by the Killington Resort, which are accessible by a short drive over to the K-1 Base area.

Guests at Sunrise Mountain Village have free access to the HOA amenities. In the winter months, these amenities include an unlimited supply of firewood (located at the huts in the parking lots), snowshoeing gear, cross country skiing gear, ice skating equipment, access to backcountry trails regularly groomed by Sunrise, and the Sunrise Café.
