Chalet was just about perfect for our friends and family ski vacation. Everything was just as explained in the listing. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked with equipment, plates, glasses and silverware. I forgot to count, but I believe there were 5 different methods for making morning coffee. Enough space for everyone and dog was probably the happiest of all. Only drawback was that we had to reset the breaker on hot tub a couple times, (the owners had mentioned that to us before hand) but it did lead to one night where we couldn't use. Note - If your crew is avid skiers, the fact that Highlands shuts down the Interconnect lift (at least as of Jan 1-3 2026) at around 3pm limits ski in/ski out to half the day.

A well-constructed log cabin near the top of the hill. The home is pleasant and updated. We had a great time! There were some broken/defective items (hot tub lid, coffee maker, light switches, luggage rack) from previous guests which were not fixed or reported to us in advance. I would recommend (as with any rental) to take photo evidence and inform the property manager right away to avoid being falsely accused of breaking them.

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Very impressive log home with tons of room for a good size group. We had 15 guys and it never felt crowded.

We had a great time at the Ski Chalet for the weekend. The ski-in/ski-out was great, but just wished the new chair lift ran longer in the afternoon. We had an issue with the hot tub, and the property manager responded quickly.

The house is great, clean, well appointed and easy to get to the lifts by skiing right out the back. The catch is that the only lift that serves this side of the hill closes an hour before everything else. If you’re not careful you may get stranded at the base with no easy way back to the house. We enjoyed the stay a great deal. However, for open to close skiers or boarders it’s a little disappointing that you have to drive to the main base area anyway if you want to have an easy way home after.

Our big family group loved the place in early October and can only imagine how great it would be as a ski vacation. Management was very responsive — we had a plumbing issue and they sent an emergency plumber on Friday night. Strange problem that the front door code stopped working after the initial check-in, but the garage entrance remained usable so no harm done. Kitchen is beautifully appointed and the gift of American Spoon jam and BBQ sauce was a sweet Up-North-forward gesture! Great spot for walking on the ski trails behind the house and we enjoyed the hot tub — fire out will have to wait for next time.

Property was as advertised. 10 of us were very comfortable. Front porch and back porch wonderful for coffee in morning and reading a book or just relaxing in the outdoors. Beautiful location any time of the year.
