Stayed Dec 27, 2025Wonderful home and service, the only thing missing was the snow! The house is tastefully designed with a nice combination of modern and mountain. It's well stocked with thoughtful touches such as toiletries, hair dryers, etc. and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook for a group. Vail Butler provides wonderful service and addressed every issue and question immediately. The location, while beautiful, is a bit isolated with no stores or restaurants walkable. We learned that Arrowhead is the last part of the mountain to open for skiing (first is Beaver Creek, then Bachelor's Gulch) so in the early ski season (we were there late December/early January) the only way to ski is to take two shuttles (one to the bottom of Arrowhead to get the next shuttle to the open lifts in the other villages) or to drive and park over in Beaver Creek base. The shuttles and wait times varied, sometimes one would be available in minutes, sometimes there was a 45 minute wait and sometimes none were available. Perhaps during a less busy time it's more predictable. This location is probably only ski in/ski later in the ski season or if you're lucky to get an early snow year.
