Access to the slopes was great. The private hot tub was nice after we finally got it hot enough the second day. I didn’t think the temp would have been set so low that I couldn’t get it up to the right temp before midnight and then only part of the jets were working, but it at least it was hot. The sliding door to the deck is really hard to slide but the homeowner said they are working on it and the windows but it wasn’t disclosed in the listing, just mentioned it after we had arrived for our stay. The windows and doors let in a lot of cold air, so it was really hard to regulate the inside temperature. I hung the bedspreads over the windows to help with the draft. The missing knob on the floor heating unit made it tricky to figure out where the temp was set. The listing did say well appointed kitchen, but I didn’t find any hot pads or oven mittens for handling anything from the oven and it could use another flat spatula and a spaghetti server. Maybe the hot tub made up for the other little things.

We had a comfortable stay overall, but were very disappointed that the private hot tub—featured prominently as a key amenity—was not working during our entire visit. We specifically booked this property (at a higher nightly rate) because it advertised a private hot tub on the deck, shown as the first listing photo and emphasized throughout the description. In fact, we passed up more affordable options with shared hot tub access for this reason. We did not need this much space. Unfortunately, the hot tub never worked, and despite being told the first night that it would be repaired the next day, no one ever came to attempt a fix. While the host did provide a modest credit (90 host hot tub fee and 100 to use split rock on final night which conflicted with our dinner plans) this did not come close to compensating for the loss of an amenity that significantly influenced our booking decision. Based on the condition of the hot tub, it appeared this may not have been a new issue, yet the listing had not been updated to reflect that it was inoperable, nor has it in the week following our stay.On a positive note, the host was communicative, and the accommodations themselves were comfortable and well-appointed. However, we would not have booked this property had we known the hot tub would not be usable. Future guests should not expect the hot tub to be available unless the listing is updated to confirm it is working.

I selected this property based on the listing of 5 bedrooms with 2 beds each. Our group was 9 men over the age 60. The unit was not appropriate for our group. Two bedrooms have Queen beds with a trundle single underneath, that did not have any bedding, blankets or pillows. One bedroom has a bunk bed which was not appropriate for an adult and the single is on the floor below it. Also the window was broken in that room making it very cold with the outside weather conditions. On the positive side the unit has all new appliances, 2 sets of washer and dryer and a great garage/mudroom for putting outside gear. Make sure your group is appropriate for this Condo.

This was perfect for our multi generation ski weekend. My family was very happy and impressed with everything Alison’s property had to offer. The game room/tv lounge was a big hit. The best part was the location and ski in/out. Alison was also great at responding to any questions I had. Wonderful host!

We had 8 adults and 6 young children under the age of 3 and had an excellent time. Great location, can literally walk out the back door and throw your skis on and hop on Upper Flume.

The home was beautiful and perfect for a girls weekend at Snowshoe. It is perfectly situated at the top of the mountain and walking distance to the different Village spots. You can walk right out onto the slopes to start your adventures and come back to a cozy, well-furnished, home base. The shuttle to take you to other parts of the mountain (including Silver Creek) has a pickup spot right by the home so it's conveniently located to everything you need on the mountain. We had a great time and would love to stay at this home again.

Amazing location and communication with owner was fabulous. House was fully stocked - sheets, towels, TP/paper towel, kitchen dishes and utensils. There were some issues with the deck door when we were there - couldn't fully close it but owner was fixing/replacing. Expensive - but so it everything in this area.

Group of 6 friends stayed here for an annual ski trip. The condo was perfect, very spacious and comfortable. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space. The downstairs ski room was perfect for all our gear. Also a perk was having an extra fridge and microwave downstairs. We will definitely be staying here again. Alison was very responsive and so pleasant to work with.

The location was perfect. The condo was clean and the property manager was very responsive. Theme are some things that could use fixing- new shower liner upstairs, bathroomdoor on middle floor was not closing properly, sliding glass doors were hard to close, had difficulty with fireplace and with figuring out how to have fans on in bedrooms without having light on, downstairs bedroom is not as cozy and gets cold. But, upstairs bedrooms are very cute, kitchen was well-stocked, hot tub was nice once warmed up, and sitting areas were cozy. Im perfect location if you’re skiing.

With little ones this was the perfect place to stay to be able to enjoy time with family as well as have a chance to trade off and hit the slopes with friends. Could not have asked for anything better!

The house was excellent and had lots of thoughtful extras in the kitchen (spices, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, etc.). One of the lower level bedrooms opens out to a short path that leads directly to the slope (Upper Flume, I think, which is a green). It takes about 60 seconds to get from that back door to the slope. The hot tub was wonderfully hot and amazing. The house has space for 2 cars in the driveway, and there are a few lots about a 5-minute walk up the road where you can park for free (although one has a fee). One thing to note is that many of the bedrooms have a main bed and then a twin bed, so if you're doing a trip with couples and trying to sleep more than 8, the set-up isn't ideal. We had 11 adults and one couple was in bunk beds, and one person slept on the sofa in the game room. This isn't a flaw of the house, but just something to be aware of. The only issue that we had was we were unable to get the fireplace to turn on after following the directions provided. I'm not sure if we were doing it wrong, but it wasn't a big deal and we lived without it. Overall the experience was excellent and I would definitely stay again!

We were three families with children ranging in ages from 18 to 4 years old and Loggers Run was a great ski-in/out property for us. It is a townhouse with plenty of room, is well-stocked & when we walked out the door we were at the slopes. The garage area is setup to house ski equipment, which is nice. Hot tub was fun while the snow was coming down! Thank you and would definitely book again.

My family and I had a great experience here. The host was very accommodating and understood when something did go wrong (on our end). The property did have a few issues but those are honestly due to it being a rental and not caused by host neglect. We would absolutely stay again.

On arrival we couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. Beautiful finishes, lots of comfy beds, a garage to unload into, it was just perfect. Then it started raining, inside. With Hurricane Helene's outer bands bearing down on WV, the driving rain was unrelenting. And the home leaked. A lot. The entire lower bedroom poured water from the return vent right onto the twin bed, and soaked the room to practically inhabitable. The longer it rained the worse it got. From the top floor to the bottom the rain invaded in the southwest corner of every floor. The owner was wonderful and sent out a maintenance man to help, but even he had nary the tools nor the manpower to repair whatever was letting the heavens into the house. So it continued. A single day of sun before we left at least stopped the torturous drip drip drip noises, but the experience was jaded nonetheless. Best wishes to the owner on the likely expensive repairs, but would recommend pulling the listing until resolved.
