Sisters 3 by the Sea, 400 Feet To The Beach

Our stay at 3 sisters was so relaxing and stress free,the view of the bay from the front porch was amazing and oh the sunsets each evening.We rented golf carts to do our site seeing but walked to the beach just across the street from the house.Looking forward to our next stay at the 3 Sisters in Cape Charles.

Absolutely loved the House and its proximity to the beach. We will be back!!

It is a quaint old house with a view of the bay off the porch. House is like the old bed and breakfast places, which were always quaint and quirky, dusty and dirty. Living and family room were nice places to sit and chat. Check in and check out was very easy.

We had a great stay. The location is amazing! The beach is right across the street, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

It was great except a wall next to the steps was cracked and busted open. We advised the owner right away and after investigating he said the rain the prior week must have caused it

This was a great property for our weekend stay. The bay view and close proximity to the beach was terrific. Everything was very neat and clean. The owner is very prompt in responding to questions, etc.

The location of the home is absolutely great! The front porch is perfect for sunsets. If you are a cook the kitchen does not have much counter space. Overall our stay was a good experience.

The biggest challenge was the kitchen. Very small and almost no counter space. But we managed, and the rest of the house was good. We had a good week!

Just a short walk to the bay made for beautiful sunsets and fireworks. It was also convenient to the beautiful park & playground.

The only drawback would be that a TV in the bedroom would have been appreciated

Clean, neat and extremely close to the sea

We were 4 adult women celebrating a milestone birthday! We enjoyed the beach and shopping & dining downtown. Our only complaint is that the front door is very hard to lock and unlock. It created some stress!!!

This house is located in the perfect location. It is steps away from the beach, and just a few blocks from downtown. The house is super cute with a lot charm. We loved the historical house feel with all the modern amenities. The owner is very responsive and helpful too.

We had the best time staying at Sisters 3. The older home offered charm but was perfect for our young family. We were at the beach from the front door in less than 4 minutes - and that’s walking with a 4 and 2 year old! The house was well stocked with things you need but don’t think to pack, so very grateful for that!

This was our 2nd annual vacation at Sisters 3. The property has a few quirks (no back exit, dishwasher in the room next to the kitchen) but nothing that gets in the way of an enjoyable, multi generation vacation. The hosts kindly provide linens,towels, toilet paper, and a few cleaning supplies. And yes,a bottle of wine! Its just 2 blocks to the beach and the view is gorgeous. During our stay, the town had a water main break, and the hists went above & beyond to ensure we were informed. Thanks for another great vacation!

Cape Charles is a very quaint town. House was great. However, some maintenance is needed. We could not lock the house from the outside. The porch fan was broken. Visitors need to be aware of the gnats. They were horrific.

We had a fantastic time staying in Sister’s 3. We have been going to the Cape for years to vacation with friends. We have four adults and three kids, ages 5 and 8, in our group. Like many (most?) of the homes in Cape Charles, it’s older, but that adds to the charm and gives it character other homes don’t have. Plenty of storage to unpack in the bedrooms and kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the front porch, which was spacious enough for our party and we didn’t get eaten alive by mosquitoes like we have at other properties, huge bonus! I would love to see some nicer porch furniture in the future, and maybe a fully enclosed outdoor shower. But they aren’t a necessity, of course. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

The property suited our family because it has 4 bedrooms and it is so close to the beach. Wonderful spot to watch the sunset but we were unable to see the sunset this year except for one night because of the cloud cover. Sunsets in Cape Charles are beautiful and each one is different. Our family love to hear the history of where we grew up and spent our early years.

Charming stay in Cape Charles. Perfect location walkable to the beach and town. We enjoyed every minute!
