Come & Enjoy a stay with us at Sea Salt!
A quick 4 blocks to the beautiful Jacksonville Beaches area and you will sink your toes into the sand and enjoy the gorgeous Florida sunshine! Smell that salt air and catch some rays! You can quickly walk the 4 blocks, pulling the beach wagon with cooler, towels and a few chairs; or leave the wagon at home and hop on one of the 2 bikes that are included in the rental! After spending the day at the beach, come on back to Sea Salt, rinse off your sandy self in the outdoor shower and relax in the great courtyard or cozy up in the open living area - or maybe even catch the sunset from the balcony off of the 2nd floor. Our living room sofa & chair: sometimes we use our blue covers and at other times we use our white covers. :)
**We have redone our kitchen island to a new one with more storage and larger top than is shown in the photos. At present, the bar side overhang is not there as they provided a top that fits exactly to the larger island. However, we will be changing that out to the oversized one with the hangover side for the bar seating as soon as it arrives! Once we have that completed, we will be updating our phogoraphy!
Non-Smoking Property: The entire property is no-smoking.
*Propane for the grill is not included. Firewood is not included. The BBQ and Firepit must remain where they are located. The BBQ is on the gravel area and must remain there for use. The firepit is located on the center of the pavers in the yard. This is for the safety of all guests. When using the firepit tools, they must remain on the pavers and not placed on the turf! Any questions, please ask first!
Sea Salt is also close to the area hospitals including The Mayo Clinic & Baptist Beaches Medical Center. *The road around the Townhome has been freshly paved and the road work has been finished up! We are very excited! We will be updating our photography in early January 2024! So please watch for our updates!
A short drive to Downtown Jacksonville lets you take in sporting events & concerts. OR visit The Jax Beach Pavillion for events there too! This is a great location to take in the The Players Championships at Sawgrass. You can also take advantage of a Tuc-Tuc and tour the craft breweries around downtown Jacksonville. Some amenities may be nearby - additional fees may be required. Such as boat rental, golf, horseback riding, etc.
Pet Friendly - pets less than 40 lbs - additional cleaning/pet hair removal fee required. Pets must be disclosed in advance. Fee is per pet. All dogs are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Failure to disclose the pet in advance will result in a $500 fee.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Guest Arrival is anytime 4pm EST or after. If the property is approved for early arrival, you will receive a message letting you know you can arrive early and we will activate the door code. If you do not receive a message, then the arrival will remain at 4pm EST.
Guest Departure is anytime 10am EST or before. If you have not departed by this time and do not have written prior approval for a late departure, you will be assessed a $50 late departure fee for every 30 minute delay. The Cleaning Services we use schedule their teams for multiple cleans in advance and any unplanned delays create issues. With unscheduled/unapproved late departures, they are required to bring in additional team members

We stayed here when we went to the Tax Slayer Gator Bowl Game. The location is super convenient to the major roads that get you in and out of the city! Beds were extremely comfortable, unit had a true Beach cottage feel that was definitely cozy and made it hard for us to leave. 2 days worth of coffee and a small bag of travel toiletries were left for us which was a really nice touch. It’s within easy walking distance to a really yummy icecream shop, Restaurants and circle K for essentials. If you’re a reader, there are all sorts of wonderful books on the book shelf to read if you’re there for a long time. I visit Jax frequently so I’ll definitely choose this condo when we return.
We are a couple of active retirees. Enjoyed our one week stay. Interior spaces are fresh, welcoming, and filled with light. Kitchen is well equipped. Online description and photos are accurate. Location is a short stroll to the beautiful beach. Walkable to various fast food and casual dining options including appealing independent coffee shops, traditional diner, and health food market/deli. Five minute drive to Publix grocery store. North Jacksonville has plenty of high-rise hotels, but we prefer being at home with this vacation rental. Owner was responsive and friendly.
Place was clean and had all the necessities. Also a short walk from the beach.
We had a pleasant stay. The property was perfect for our family of four and our small dog. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and had no undesired surprises - everything was as advertised. Great style and use of the space, walkable to lots of businesses and the beach, but still on a quiet street. We would definitely stay there again.
The house itself is clean and contained all that was needed for a comfortable stay. The road construction was not clearly described when I was booking and I wasn’t aware that the roads were blocked and muddy until we arrived. I was able to bring my small dog with no issues other than the lack of grass space. The beach materials were convenient, however, there was no umbrella as mentioned in the description. The walk to the beach wasn’t terrible, there’s a crosswalk 2 streets down to cross the busy street. I enjoyed the location being central and close to the fun, local restaurants. Overall, a pleasant stay.

My friends and I had a great time at this property! It is also in a great location! We definitely looked last minute for a place to stay for NYE, but I’d say this place was very easy to book and was exactly like the photos on the ad. The only thing that threw me off was that the street that you pull down to access the house is being remodeled so the street looks sketchy, but that isn’t the owners fault, it just got the rental a bit dirty and a hassle to clean up before leaving. Overall for location, price, and the stay it was 5 stars in my book!
We really enjoyed our weekend @ Sea Salt. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Very conveniently located. The rooms are very spacious, and the home not only was spotless but equipped with everything we needed. Sue was very quick to respond to any questions I had & we would definitely consider staying here again
We returned to Sea Salt in Jacksonville Beach for another long weekend, and loved our stay! Sea Salt had everything we could need, the weather was beautiful, we enjoyed walking to local spots (Sago, Delicomb, Mellow Mushroom to name a few) and had a perfect beach day on Saturday!
The house was great and was close to anything you need. It was fairly kid friendly and the check in/out process was simple. it just needed and quick landscaping job and it would have been perfect.
My family and I enjoyed our stay in Jacksonville Beach. The property had everything we needed. Our kids loved the nook area with the bed. The beach chairs, wagon, and boogie boards were great to have access to! The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The things we would have changed would be the construction on the road and the busy road you had to cross to get to the beach. The sewer pipes on the property's street and surrounding streets were being worked on, and the sewer smell was not pleasant. Hopefully the works will be completed soon! While the property is only a few blocks from the beach, you have to cross a major road that is busy all times of the day to get to the beach. It's not ideal for small children or anyone who moves a little slower to walk or ride bikes across. Our kids are older and it was still a little stressful! I would recommend driving across to the parking lot if you're going to the beach. It's a free parking lot and would be safer!
Overall, our stay was ok. I have rented numerous properties to the point that I have a 5-star review as a guest. I have rented pet friendly units before, but I have never had to contend with the amount of pet hairs this unit had. The hosts attempted to rectify the sofa covers but washing of the sofa and chair covers and a few rolls of a lint brush eliminated only half the pet hairs and some of the stains due to use overtime. It was not enough. We had to cover the sofa with linen. Cons: 1. Cleanliness issue regarding the sofa, chair, and linen only...too much pet hair. The rest of the unit was clean. 2. Extra fees: In my haste to rebook a last-minute host cancellation, I quickly re-booked this Unit without realizing all the extra fees i.e. damage/liability fee, 3rd party management, in addition to VRBO's fees...Yikes! My fault! 3. Hard to reach Host by phone. I called 6 times to include returned calls. All calls were routed directly to the voicemail. It was very frustrating and time consuming for quick remedies and/or emergencies that are needed by phone; however, they were responsive to VRBO messages. 4. Internet/tv: Had intermittent issues throughout our stay regarding connectivity. TV would go in and out sporadically; however, they had tons of apps i.e. Hulu, Netflix, Prime, etc. 6. Abundance of responsibilities deferred to the Guest: Some responsibilities are standard practice but a long laundry list of cleaning chores and deferred responsibilities as a guest you begin to question why you are paying the additional fees for management/cleaning fees. Pros: 1. Location to the beach 2. Outdoor shower 3. Thoughtful and abundant beach goers' amenities and supplies, beach wagon, bikes, abundance of towels, convenient outdoor spigot (feet-washing), coolers, etc. 4. Great bedding set-up 5. Ample kitchen supplies I

Thanks for such a great stay! We had a great time here. Location was key for us on this stay. This place had it. We were able to walk to the beach in 3 mins. Had a great outside shower that you could jump in to get the sand off of you before going into a well done home. We will stay here again!
