Positives: The property is in a great location Close to just about everything you need including shopping at the outlets. Sofia was always responding promptly and was very accommodating to our late check out . Pool table/ping pong was a hit! Negatives: The house definitely needs upgrades and a lot of TLC. The stove takes a very very long time to heat up and the oven doors were very hard to close shut. You have to slam them literally to keep them closed. The dishwasher barely cleaned the dishes, you have to rinse all dishes completely prior to loading. The pool was not ready for us when we arrived, as there was quite a lot of leaves and debris on top of the pool as well as on the bottom. The pool net scoop that is supplied is a joke! The net is so tattered and shredded your lucky if you’re able to scoop out one leaf. The instructions for turning on the pool and spa is quite confusing if you don’t own a pool! We arrived on a Sunday and the “pool man “ comes on Tuesday’s- by Tuesday night we were able to finally use the pool, but they still did not replace pool scoop. The Wii system is broken, although not a huge deal, but would have been nice to note this especially with 3 teenagers looking to game. Second bedroom bed had boards broken underneath that Hector did repair on day 2. He as well had noted that the back yard had not been landscaped in a long time. Weeds everywhere. Third bedroom with trundle was not bed ready for my boys to sleep in. In conclusion, the amount of money we paid for the week for this property and for what we were expecting did not add up! My suggestions are make sure your pool is ready the day of your guests arriving not just on Tuesday! Get a pool net scoop replaced! Add some more flowers along back cement walls and maybe have a pool lounger or 2 , not just the patio chairs. Fix appliances! This is really frustrating for families of teenagers that are hungry all the time!
What a grand getaway! We enjoyed our time here. Spacious accommodations, a nice tub, pool table, and a heated pool. Very quiet neighborhood, only saw the occasional dog walker. The main pool was a bit chilly, so having the heated pool steps out the back door was great. The hostess was responsive to our inquiries. The only hiccup was when the washer wasn't functioning, but was promptly addressed. We would recommend. Thanks Sofia!
This was the most disappointing stay we’ve ever had at a rental. The TV reception and the internet were completely unreliable. We spent many hours on the phone troubleshooting with the (cable and internet) provider and, with Sophia’s permission we arranged and stayed home for 6 different service calls during our 6 week stay. Service was temporarily restored after each visit. Temporarily. The bad service interfered with us watching our grandkids’ streaming games, a couple big golf tournaments, the Winter Olympics, and the super bowl among other things. As an accommodation we were offered free pool heating. The pool heater worked for 6 days. The pool man said the unit needed replacing. Nice house layout, great linens, pots and pans.
The house is one good location and with good space for kids that have kids the same like us . The great thing is the hot pool. The kids used a lot and save us to enjoy the winter time in phoenix. Great size and functionality. Sofia, improve the connection with your guest. my first online question, I wanted around three months to your answer and during the stay you did not answer my phone calls. Thank you so much for your house.
Love your VRBO location and property was full of great amenities !!! Air conditioning and heating are excellent and make for a perfect climate during your stay. Pool and hot tub are so amazing and make it feel like a resort, when they are working properly, which was the majority of our stay. Communication and problem solving by owner was outstanding and prompt … Sophia did so much for us and was always willing and able to help us !!! Thank you Sophia !!!
My family (me, husband, two boys ages 5 and 9) wanted to escape the midwest winter weather for a bit during the COVID craziness. Since we are all virtual schooling and working, we decided to rent a home in the greater Phoenix area for a month. This house was perfect for us. One of the bedrooms is more of den with a XL twin size day bed but it worked out well for my older son because there was space in the room to set him up with a desk for school. My youngest used the desk in the kitchen to work. Internet was great (most of the time) for streaming multiple live meetings at once. It had a couple living areas with TVs, great for kids and great for adults. It was nice to have access to the garage to store the bikes we brought with us. We purposely paid the additional heating fee for the pool and spa. It's REALLY hard to find a private heated pool in Phoenix, so we were thrilled to have it. We were in it daily. The neighborhood was great. We were super close to lots of stores and carry-out dinner options. Hiking was about 20 minutes away and a nice bike trail was just a short drive. Also, being in a small, gated community with lots of pathways, bridges and ponds, gave our boys a chance to take their scooters out on their own over their lunch breaks. It was the perfect recess. I also enjoyed daily walks exploring the greater Ocotillo area. The neighborhood has a bigger community pool, spa and a fitness center which looked nice, but we didn't use them since we had the pool and spa at the house. Now, I will say that the house does have a bit of wear and tear...it is a rental after all. But, everything was in working order, the beds were super comfy, and we had everything we needed for our stay -- including lots of kitchen appliances and utensils. Hello, popcorn popper! I would definitely rent this property again if I were in the area for an extended stay. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond to all our inquiries, and for the price, the property is a great value. Thanks Sofia!!!! :)
My wife and I chose to stay in Phoenix for Christmas this year. This property was in a perfect location. The property was exactly what we were looking for. All amenities were as described or better. We had regular communication with the host and all was great. We will definitely look into staying at this property next time we are in the Phoenix area.
This home was perfect for our family during Thanksgiving. We were extremely comfortable. The pool was very nice and the kitchen is upgraded and very nice. We would rent this house again.
Property was nice neighbors were nice overall had a great time
The pool was not heated as had been discussed with property owner prior to arriving. Also the community pool is not heated as stated in the ad. No Direct contact with owner so only communication is through VRBO site. Very misleading ad and a disappointment for no pool use when it was requested
