Launch kayak from the private beach and try your luck at Islamorada's famed bone fishing in the flats right out front. Brand new in 2008, this home is fully equipped. Islamorada is the 'The Fishing Capital of the World' Great fishing in the gulf or ocean side. There are plenty of guides you can hook up with, as well as 'head boats' where you can walk on for a reasonable cost and fish the reef (just a few miles offshore). Bring your own boat or charter with a guide.Try your luck fishing right out front for bonefish, permit & barracuda on the flats. Or check out the mangroves for snapper and snook. Enjoy the views of the turquoise waters; swim in the large heated pool or just relax in the surrounding lush garden area overlooking the Atlantic; take a quiet stroll through the complex; take in some sun on the private beach. Restaurants: a short walk north is Hog Heaven (a night spot) and the Island Grill; a few miles south is upscale Pierre's on the Gulf and the more casual Islamorada Fishery next door (both are next to Worldwide Sportsman for fishing tackle, clothing, and a large indoor aquarium); also a few miles south is Holiday Isle, the Green Turtle Inn & many more eateries. Some other favorites are Ziggys and Maddogs, Morada Bay, Marker 88 and the famous Cheeca Lodge.Attractions: Theater of the Sea is about 1/2 mile south. Founders Park is just a mile or two north.     Great place, just as pictured. Was clean, quiet and my family loved it. Cool community, great pool and boat slips were nice & well-equipped. However, please note-all places do not have a boat slip, so reach out to your host and make sure yours does or you need to pay extra for one. Also, your boat has to be launched elsewhere, and there is nowhere to park boat trailers on site. So that must be reserved and rented elsewhere as well...we did not find that out until the last minute, but luckily, we were able to find a spot. We would definitely stay at this place again though-just giving everyone a heads up.

    Angler’s Reef is lovely! Our place was great and close to everything. We have been coming to Islamorada for 22 years and have stayed in various places. The owner’s were responsive and very nice to work with! We will be back next year!

    This is the best location we have stayed at in Islamorada. The community was safe and quiet, plenty to do right on site with swimming, private beach, kayaks and paddleboards, fishing off dock. We saw manatees most days in the marina. The house is exactly as listed, the owners were quick to respond and fix any issues we had. Would definitely rent again!

    Anglers Reef is a great development close to many amenities and wonderful restaurants. We’ve stayed in several units and will do so again next year. Besides some housekeeping maintenance improvements, the big issue was the guest room King pillow top mattress collapsing in the middle. After contacting the owners, who advised us to flip the mattress upside down, anyone who stayed in the King still complained about the rolling into the middle due to the collapsing

    We really enjoyed our week long stay. The home was very clean & comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need & there was even a basket of beach towels near the front door. The outdoor space in the back was quiet & private. We felt very at home. The community was beautiful.

    Beautiful location! We were very comfortable in this house. This was our 3rd year staying at Angler’s Reef. It’s an amazing stay for families. Our son fishes all day and catches about every 10-15 minutes. All of the vacationing kids got to know each other and had a great time. Islamorada is a hidden gem!

    Beautiful home with everything you could ask for right at your fingertips. Perfect location and one minute walk to the pool, beach or dock. Would recommend this and the host and owner were always quick to answer any questions
