We had a good time in Twain Harte at Paradise Location. It was quiet and restful esp for my still working husband. A few issues no heat or fireplace, had not lite pilot and ran out of Propane for BBQ, but we made it work for us. Thanks for the short loan of the cabin. J&S
The cabin was perfect for our needs--a recently remodeled kitchen and open floorplan with a gas stove made for great communal spaces to cook and dine in. The bedrooms were definitely small, but it is a cabin after all! Everything in the house was in great condition and clean when we arrived, and communication with Brian could not have been easier. We will definitely be back to stay again--thank you for your hospitality Brian!
This cabin was perfect for me, my husband, my almost 2yr old, and our dog. We wanted to be close to the snow and surrounded by nature for the holidays; this place did not disappoint. The town was super cute, and my daughter loved playing on the nearby playground. Our dog loved her walks and the freedom of running around in the backyard. The kitchen has been updated, and we had everything we needed to prepare a lovely Christmas dinner. The owner was kind enough to put out a Christmas tree and decorations, which added to our holiday trip experience. They have a bunch of toys my daughter loved playing with, and the house was very safe for her to roam around in. We didn't end up going to the snow, but there seemed to be a lot of stuff to do nearby. The owner was super friendly and very informative. He sent us detailed instructions on how to get there and what to do during check-in and check-out. He even gave us a list of nearby attractions and restaurants to visit. Overall, we had a lovely time and looking forward to staying at this property again in the future.
We had lots of plans in and around the area which has to be cancelled because of the storms - thankfully the cabin is fabulously kitted out for cozy indoors fun so our trip was still great. Location is super. Brian could not have been more helpful.
We had a great time at Brian's cabin. He gave us excellent tips on the fastest route, where to eat and his instructions on how to make the most of our trip were great. The location is amazing. The cabin has everything you need for a stay. We were there 5 nights. Having a fenced in yard for our two tiny dogs was a game changer though we did keep an eye out for hawks. The check in and out process was simple. We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoy a relaxing stay at the cabin the two days there. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and we missed out swimming at the lake. We instead went out for long walks around the golf course and town.
Comfortable and pleasant cabin, close to restaurants and shops in Twain Harte. Fenced in back yard, great for a dog.
Our family of five spent four nights here in Feb and had a great experience. Cabin is cosy and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The bunk room has three singles, which worked well for our three young kids. Having a fenced backyard was great for our kids and pup. Owner was easy to communicate with and gave helpful instructions. The location is wonderful - walkable to a couple of restaurants and coffee shops and some nice hikes, and about 40 minutes to Dodge Ridge for skiing. For the price and location, this cabin is a great no-frills comfortable option.
Brian is a great host, the cabin was super nice and warm and clean. Fully stocked kitchen, great upgrades and comfortable. The location was also perfect for us to enjoy snow play and ski. Great location near Sonora and Columbia too for families to explore those historic towns. Overall great experience, highly recommend it
