Asheville, North Carolina
Walk downtown in minutes (3 blocks) to all of the breweries and restaurants Asheville is known for (one just a block away). Private 6-person hot tub. Walk to almost anything downtown within 15 - 20 min. Beautiful chef's kitchen with wall oven and 5 burner gas cooktop. Decorated with original art, the space has a feeling of freshness. Custom cherry bar, exposed brick, hardwood and tile floors with high efficiency systems. Covered front porch with seating. Private backyard with fire-pit and hammock, large enough for yard games. Modern laundry room with storage/pantry. Some of the closest attractions are the Orange Peel, McCormick Field, Wicked Weed Brewery, Green Man Brewery, and City Bakery. See the Fireworks on Friday nights during baseball season from the backyard.Expensive hotel room or sweet private pad
My girlfriend and I stayed at the property for a long weekend getaway. The house is just a short walk or drive from Patton Street which has a lot of bars, restaurants and shops like the Orange Peel for live music and Wicked Weed Brewing. The house is NOT in a sketch neighborhood like another review mentioned. It is in a cute neighborhood of older bungalow style and bigger homes, some of which have been renovated and others that haven't. The living room and dining room well well lit and filled with natural light. The kitchen was well appointed and the appliances are all newer. The washer and dryer were new models too. The bedroom was cute and the house had wood floors throughout. The backyard has a fire pit which we did not use. Towels and sheets were provided and they were clean. The owner reached out to me by text the day of arrival and while we did not need anything, I feel that the owner would've been responsive to my needs had I reached out. It is as advertised. A cute, stylish bungalow in a safe and charming neighborhood. I would rent this listing again and woudl recommend it to my friends!
We stayed in this awesome house for 5 weeks and we have enjoyed every single Minute. Everything what you need is available and the location is brilliant. The house is in silent sourounding and very close to downtown.
There is a reason that there are no pictures of the outside of this location. The house sits in the middle of a very sketchy block. That being said we had absolutely no problems with any of the neighbors. The house was perfect for me and my wife and with a few additional upgrades/improvements this would be a truly great find. First off the second bedroom was locked? No explanation. I tend to snore and it would have been a nice alternative. Secondly you feel a little like a fish in fishbowl as there is not enough shades covering doors/windows. And lastly if there was a couple of windows that you were able to open especially at night it would have made our stay even more comfortable. Location was very close to downtown area and I would stay here again and hope that the owner addresses some of the issues herein to make this an even better expierience!
The inside of the property was very nice and updated - we very much enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I had a great Labor Day weekend stay in Asheville here. The interior of the house is clean, modern, and beautiful. It was very comfortable for the two of us. There is a second bedroom, so I think 4 or so people could stay there comfortably. The house was a little tricky to see at first, as the street is narrow and there's a big tree near the house right before you get to it. The location was very convenient to downtown - about a 1/3 of a mile (less than 10 min) walk to Wicked Weed, where we met up with friends. The street didn't have lot of light at night, but there were many folks milling around in the area (downtown-goers and people parking for a nearby baseball game) and we felt safe walking back in the dark. Adam was a great host - he messaged us a couple of times during our stay to see if we needed coffee or anything else in the house. All in all, it was a great stay!
We enjoyed staying at the house for a few days and appreciated how responsive Adam was to all of our questions. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to all downtown had to offer. Sadly, we only found out as we were leaving that a well-reviewed restaurant (White Labs) was right next door. Too many other good places within reach, however! We look forward to coming back.
Three of us stayed here for a guys weekend. Great little place. A short walk to downtown. Very clean. Looks like it was just recently renovated. Overall good communication with the owner. Parking for more than one car is a bit tight. Would definitely stay here again.
The hospitality and thoughtful touches of Adam and Ben (owners) were much appreciated. The home was a nice size for our young family of 4 and it was close enough to easily walk to food and downtown. The look of the Home as you pull up, isn’t really representative of the care given to the inside. It would be nice to see the exterior tidied up.
Asheville has a great deal to offer with plenty of local breweries and restaurants. The Blue Ridge Parkway is close, allowing for plenty of hiking and exploring. The Biltmore estate is well worth a visit. This property is perfect for 2-4 people, the kitchen brand new. A mirror in each bedroom would be a better. The Apple TV is not my favorite! I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville NC.
The house is located within easy walking distance to a ton of restaurants and breweries, as well as being central for easy trips any direction to other area attractions/activities. The inside of the house was recently updated and looks great. The guys were very helpful with giving us some recommendations in the area and welcomed our input for little things around the house.
