Shore Thing Waterfront Home with private covered boat dock on Toledo Bend

Great house on Toledo Bend. Very convenient location with stores and restaurants nearby. We loved using the boat dock to the leave our boat in the water. The house is well equipped with all of the essentials for a home away from home. Plenty of space to park trucks and boat trailers. The owners really have thought of everything. We will definitely be back.

Great place! Kids really enjoyed having the dock to swim and hangout. Very easy to get in and out of property by boat or vehicle. Everything you could possibly need is close by.

This place was more than what we expected. Pictures don’t do it justice. It was the perfect getaway for our little family and very accommodating. The boat dock was a huge plus for us, being able to leave our boat in the water the whole stay. As well as the private back yard. Plenty of space for the kids to play. Love how it’s tucked away with no view of neighbors. Amazing host with very quick response. We will most definitely be back !!

Had a very nice stay this weekend. The cabin was very clean and had eveything we needed. Such a cute and peaceful scenery. The neighborhood was friendly yet kept to themselves. We really enjoyed the dock where we were allowed to leave the boat when not in use.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. I didn't read the property details good enough and wasn't waiting on the upstairs kitchen and living room. But with that being said we totally enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, quite and had everything we needed for our get away.

Overall it was a realy relaxing place to stay after one year working

Awesome spot on Toledo Bend

Convenient location and great setup

The house itself was very enjoyable. There was ample space for our group of nine and we really enjoyed the large living space to not feel cramped. While eating outside on the wrap around porch is nice sometimes, it's impossible for the entire group to eat together, especially inside. While the listing states that there's only one bathroom, I must have skipped that when reading the home was fit for ten people. While we made it work, it definitely made the weekend more challenging. The dock was nice for fishing, but I wouldn't recommend swimming. The water plants are more overgrown than the pictures show, which can happen with seasonality, but it didn't feel safe to swim without getting legs caught and the plant life brought a plethora of turtles. Be warned if you plan to fish that you'll catch so many turtles too. This location is great if you want a relaxing weekend to sit by a fire or play games like charades inside and is super close to the bridge to get over to Louisiana. But I wouldn't recommend this lake as a vacation destination as there isn't even boat rental places nearby, you need to bring all your own stuff. That's not on the property, just affected our overall weekend. Overall, I would recommend this home, we felt very comfortable and safe.

Great location near local fishing and tackle spots. Between to close parks to take kids swimming. House was clean and cozy. A market basket was about half a mile away. Had stuff for children to keep entertained. Will definitely stay here again
