    House was terrific, lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was fantastic, any cooking utensils we needed were present. The house was clean, well appointed, warm. The fireplaces were cozy, and helpful when heating up the house after a day of skiing. The property managers were responsive, polite and attentive to our needs.

    The location was great. It was close to the Gondola.The house was comfortable for 8 people.The pictures make the house furnishing look much better than in real life. All of the furniture/bedding needs updating.

    Great accommodation. 100m to the free gondola to town or direct to the slopes.Ps. It’s an extra 100 for early checkin and the same for late checkout if available. This will not be told to you until right before you want access to the house. 1pm of early checkin and 12pm for late checkout.

    Beds were all uncomfortable. Appliances and cookware were awful. Garbage disposal did not work. Bedspread in master was disgusting. It had human hair weaved in the material. We had to wash and clean everything before use(dishes, wine glasses etc) Oven temp was way off. Thank goodness we cooked our turkey at home or it would still be cooking! We have asked for compensation but have not heard back as yet. I do not recommend this particular condo

    We loved this house! Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of comforts. We saw moose outside the house everyday we were there and enjoyed the trails right outside the door. Beautiful touches of the home and beautiful surroundings. We would love to stay again!

    We have been 100% disappointed, to some extent, in our rentals for the last 20 years, until this one. A real nice place, not new, but well cared for. Excellent location near the free gondola for trips into town. In our two weeks there, we saw a moose cow and her calf, a large fox and a small bear, all from the living room.Minor discrepancy, no condiments, not even salt and pepper.A very enjoyable stay.

    Property is perfectly located within walking distance of Breck Gondola and 5 minute drive into town. House had everything we needed for a great ski trip! Management was great! We had a small issue with the dryer and they had maintenance there within minutes to fix!

    This place was perfect for a group of eight. Great location, short walk to the Gondola, which was very important to us. There is the Nordic trail the passes right next to the property but we really enjoyed watching and talked to the enthusiast as we sat on the deck having a drink or a beer (one actually stopped and took me up for the offer for a beer). It truly is an experience that family thoroughly enjoyed and are planning our next trip to this property!

    Great place, great stay, no complaints whatsoever. Walking distance to downtown (if you don't mind exercise) and close to the gondola as well. We will definitely be back to this property!

    We had an amazing Thanksgiving week at Shock Hill Retreat! It was the perfect place for our family of skiers and non skiers. We took full advantage of the home’s proximity to the gondola. You are literally a half a block to the gondola. The home could not have been more perfect. It was an idyllic place to spend time with family. We would come back in a heart beat!

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gorgeous clean rental with amazing location. 3 min walk to the free gondola to town. Tons of trails literally outside your front door. 3 min to town by car. Kids loved the hot tub and going to town by themselves via gondola. Only improvement needed is kitchen is very sparse. No spices besides salt and pepper. Couldn’t find any grill tools which made grilling challenging. Other than that it was perfect!

    5 star location but mattresses sagging and not comfortable especially larger beds. Workers staining all steps and rails at the house on 7/15 with absolutely NO notification limiting access. Need to let the renter know that the kitchen has minimal cooking supplies

    The location was great, hop on the free gondola to go downtown or up to Peak 8. Scenery was perfect for a mountain stay, access to walking trails. Loved that every bedroom had a bathroom plus a half bath on main floor. Very spacious. Everything was clean and tidy. There are some humidifiers and small fans available for use. Management was able to accommodate a slightly early check in and communication was great. Worth noting-there are no basic kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, oil, foil, seasonings, coffee, creamers, etc. If you plan to do any cooking or eating at the house, you will have to purchase everything. For the price/level of lodging, I would expect these basic items. Adequate supply of dishes, coffee makers, etc. Overall, I would recommend, just know the kitchen supply situation.
