Two families with 4 kids (8-10yrs old). Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen, dining and family room were much bigger than anticipated. House was very clean and user friendly. Kids loved the jacuzzi and the garage was a great staging area for skis, snowboards, boots, etc. Location was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
This 3-story townhome was very nice for our family of six. Having a garage was nice for loading/unloading in the snow and nice to have a dedicated parking spot. 2nd floor kitchen and living area was large enough plus the large dining room table was great for meals. Enough beds on the 3rd floor for us all and didn't even need the bunkroom on the first floor. Hot tub was a hit with the kids. Great location, can see the Powder Monkey lift and easy walk. Shuttle stop from Silver Creek was very close as well as Western Territory Lift. Its about a 10 minute walk into the village, wasn't too bad but not super close. Cons: -The mudroom area is very small and was crowded when getting ready for skiing. Plus the exterior door and door to garage both open in this area which made it even more difficult. -There was no additional items in the kitchen such as spices, coffee or salt/pepper. Bring everything you may need for food. -The master bedroom has a king but it fills up most of the room, not much additional space - minor detail. -Important: this property manager charges HUGE fees. The nightly rate wasn't bad but the fees were over $1,400 for two only nights!
Nice townhome, walking distance to everything.
This townhouse was perfect for our weekend at Snowshoe. We loved the location, close to everything! Clean and had nice furnishings. Would stay here again!
This home was great. easy to get to and close to the village and ski school, ski in ski out for the adults. Had everything I the kitchen. Important to note, coffee was there for us, plenty of spices, pots and pans. Even had little toiletry bags in the bathrooms. I'd bring a sharp kitchen knife though. The bedrooms were also really great. the listing says a double but that was a full w a twin bunk just like the bottom level room. this home fit 9 of us, 5 being kids, very comfortably. The location was perfection
We couldn’t have been more pleased with the property. It was perfect for our group of nine (4 adults and 5 kids). Location was great with easy access to Powder Monkey, the Western Territory, and the Village. House had plenty of space - with three floors the kids had their own space away from the adults. The garage was perfect for shedding all our ski gear.
We were thrilled to find how convenient Shay’s Landing was to both the slopes (100yds from Powdermonkey lift), expedition rental and the village restaurant & shops. We had a great experience for our first time at Snoeshoe and would stay at this unit again.
My favorite thing about this property was location to the slopes and village. The family room/dining room was spacious for two families to spread out. Lots of storage space in kitchen. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. However, the condo itself could use some TLC. Lots of past water damage on ceilings/walls with ugly repairs. One toilet upstairs had a loose handle, toaster wasn't working on left side, lack of cutlery/dishes/glasses/cups, carpet on stairs was extremely stained. Front door was very hard to open - key code wasn't given for garage door. Heating of bedrooms only occurred if doors were left open. We couldn't get the tv remote(s) to work at all - if we wanted to do anything besides change volume...we had to get up and physically press the buttons on the box for a different channel. Listing didn't mention 2 sets of bunks bed in 2 different bedrooms. That was a bonus tho! We thought it just had one bunk.
Short walk to the village (Starbucks was a favorite destination for our crowd but also restaurants) and to the slopes and lifts. The rooms and accommodations met our expectations. We couldn't get the fireplace to light but that was likely operator error. :)
