The Shawnee Creek Hideaway sits on three (3) acres and is located on the spring fed Shawnee Creek. We are five minutes to downtown Eminence and the Jacks Fork River. Rocky Falls, Alley Mill and Spring, Klepzig Mill, Peck Ranch (Elk), other springs and the Current River are a short drive from the house. You can also catch a glimpse of the nearby wild horse herds if you know where to look!

Floating and fishing the Ozark National Scenic Riverways of the Jacks Fork and Current Rivers isa Missouri summer tradition! A local canoe/kayak/raft company will even pick your group up at the house and drop you off after your float!

Hundreds of miles of horse trails are but a short drive from the house. We offer four (4) covered horse stalls (10’x10’) for you to board your horses after your ride, and while you enjoy the area.

We have 30 amp and 50 amp outlets for your camper or horse trailer while you stay.

Tens of thousands of acres of Missouri Conservation Department managed, and National Forest managed lands await you to enjoy riding your ATVs/UTVs right from the house. Shannon County and Eminence are ATV/UTV friendly. Forest roads and nearby trails are accessible right from the house.

This spacious, beautiful home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The home sleeps 4-6 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath, along with a handicap accessible Jacuzzi style tub, a walk-in shower, and a workspace (If you feel the need to work while you’re here). One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds.

We have televisions in the living room and all bedrooms ready to enjoy your streaming services. Free Wi-Fi will keep you in-touch when you need to be.

The Shawnee Creek Hideaway is handicap accessible with a large screened in front porch for entertaining. The large modern pole barn is perfect for storing your canoes, kayaks, and ATVs/UTVs when not in use. The barn also acts as a great gathering spot, with a dart board, putting green, cornhole board, ping pong table, and foosball table for your use. A large Weber grill is located under the barn overhang.

A huge, rock firepit sits along the banks of the spring fed Shawnee Creek. Listen to the water ripple through the rocks as the fire crackles!

The home is fully equipped to cover all your needs. We want you and your group to feel at home and enjoy all the Ozark region has to offer!

We had so much fun playing ping pong and frisbee. My son loved splashing in the creek. The home was perfect for what we wanted, and we had a great long family weekend away in the country. The home was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. Thank you for everything!

Excellent property, second time staying here. Great communication with owner. Plenty of room, all amenities that you need. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

This was probably the nicest house that we have ever rented. It was exceptionally clean! You could not ask for a better location as you are situated in-between the Current and Jack's Fork rivers.

Very nice home with all the amenities you'd need for a short or longer stay. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for activities, loved the barn area with games, and secluded enough to have privacy. We really enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were very kind and available if we needed anything, but we ended up not needing anything because they had thought of tons of extra stuff that people may want or need like coffee and laundry soup, extra condiments and things in the fridge, games, cables, etc. Well thought out and well taken care of property. Would highly recommend!

This was a perfect place to stay for doing day floats on the Current and Jack's Fork rivers. A great location less than 10 minutes outside Eminence that's secluded and quiet for some peaceful evenings after a day on the river. The house is stocked with all the typical things needed for cooking and making our own food, which we very much appreciated. The screened in porch was a great hangout spot in the evenings to sit, chat, and watch the hummingbirds and the fireflies later into the night. The house is very welcoming and comfy with nice couches and chairs, and a the beds were very comfortable as well.We would certainly come back to stay anytime we're looking to come down to Eminence.

The house was so comfy and well-stocked with everything we needed. It rained all weekend but we had lots of fun playing games in the barn and card games in the house. Loved the fire pit, creek, and screened in porch, too. The area around Eminence is beautiful with lots of springs, pretty rivers, good hikes, and even wild horses. Wonderful hosts and fun weekend!

We chose this property for our 1st Christmas away from home. I traveled with my husband, 3 kids aged 10-17, and 2 dogs. Walking in the first thing we saw was the beautiful Christmas tree and the decorated screened in porch. The home was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The furniture was comfy and there were plenty of places for everyone to sit and relax. The bedrooms were spacious. The closets provided more than enough space to hang the clothes we brought with us. These were some of the most comfy beds I have ever laid in. I can honestly say I've never slept better. In the master bath, there is both a jacuzzi bathtub and a standing shower. The tub was a walk in tub with a seat. It felt amazing to get in and soak after such a long day on the road. If I'm not mistaken, the water was from a spring fed well and it was crystal clear. In the living room, there is a cabinet filled with playing cards and other games, which we did take advantage of for a family game night. There were also tons of brochures and maps available that we were able to use to plan our ventures out and about. The outside barn with games and darts was also a plus since it rained our entire trip. The grounds were beautiful and secluded and there is a nearby creek that was so nice to sit by. Oh and as a convenience, there is a Dollar General about 5 minutes from the home in case you need anything. I hope to return again in the summer to spend more time there, hopefully without the rain!

3 guys stayed two nights while kayak fishing different stretches of rivers in and around Eminence. The house is extremely clean and sits off a quiet and secluded county road. We wanted for nothing and certainly will return for future trips. As listed, the house could sleep 2 couple and another couple if they took twin beds. Lots of supplies and could not ask for more.
