First I will say the location was AMAZING! Loved under this house with small kids. Gave them shade and some water to play in. Saw dolphins many days and sunsets were amazing! Views were spectacular…This being said there are some things I think people should know… Deck was in need of major repair.. many boards splintered and soft in places. Exposed nails on steps or loose boards. Railing was unstable in some locations. Only grill on main unit and was in terrible condition. When we got there we had 7 forks between both units … 1 kitchen towel in each kitchen. No can opener in either kitchen… small 5 cup coffee pot in each unit. Management did bring silverware and towels the next day. But we only had enough for each meal … I would bring plastic next time. There was a crockpot in each unit and 2 griddles … cookware was usable but if you need a big skillet I would bring it ! One thing you can’t see from the pictures… there is a very steep metal staircase that joins the units … most of the time we used outside access. One of the sliding glass doors on upstairs unit would not open.

Not only is the house beautiful, and comfortable, but the decks provide an opportunity to see aquatic life. We watched different types of fish, stingrays, and even a few small sharks. This was our second stay at this location, and we would not hesitate to come back again.

Let me start off by saying, this house is amazing and could be so much more. We loved our stay, however, you need a new cleaning crew, i read several reviews about the Cleaning and they weren't wrong, all kinds of crumbs in drawers, the dishes were put up dirty we had to wash again to use, the toaster, the can opener barely worked and you had to hold your mouth right to use them. Hardly no silverware and the pans/skillets could use replacing. The chairs on the decks def need replacing, my son sat in one and it broke and several of the other chairs the seat part is coming undone. The windows leaked when it rained, the upstairs shower leaked into the vent downstairs. The linens on the beds upstairs were for full beds, not queen AND the wash clothes were atrocious, they were stained badly, they were supposed to be white but were brownish looking. Please use some money to replace the towels/washclothes before next crew comes in. There were several bugs inside the house. The sliding glass door out to deck off the kitchen were almost impossible to open. We def worked our muscles trying to get them opened. The railing going to the top floor from the bottom floor was broke and if we didn't notice it, it could have been a bad story. I'm complaining a lot but when you pay this amt of money i would expect the house to be in better shape. Our stay was wonderful, the seclusion of the beach was awesome, but also being the last house on the lane, we had several people fishing late and early right outside our windows and people leaving the beach, always used the trash cans. The view of the dolphins were great and a few viewing of some sand sharks were noted. This house is wonderful again, but please make some changes. We would love to come back.

PROPERTY is a wonderful location right by the west end park. (no dogs allowed in the park). The property is in need of some repair and upgraded kitchen utensils. Fry pan was not usable, and we needed sizes to cook for 10 -16 people. There was no 1 cup , 1/2 cup measure cups or a full set of teaspoons. A cupboard full of covers but no bottoms for everyones discarded tupperware. No teaspoons and the silverware drawer was not cleaned, it was full of crumbs from previous tenants. I also realize it is hard to keep windows clean with the salt water spray, but I would expect them to be clean on the first day that I get there anyhow. Upstairs sliding door does not work well, we worked hard to clean it out so it would slide. Deck is in need of serious staining. Upstairs railing is broken--we reported it and tried to mark it. but it is definetely a hazard. The beds are very high and short people will have a hard time using them, the bed me and my husband slept in broke the last night we stayed there. Just creaked a little bit and then a board broke. It was a great place to sit out a storm, but please take care of it, resupply it with usable equipment and we would definitely rent again because we loved the location.

The home was beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, HOWEVER, we must report that your cleaning crew was not thorough. We found food and dirt in the silverware holder, the cabinet fronts were not wiped, and their was dirt on the back of the toilet seat in the bedroom nearest to the door on the 1st level. These things may seem small, but for the cleaning fee charged, this was unacceptable.

This house is definitely a big one! Needs a GOOD cleaning for sure! Trash behind the blinds, the ones that weren’t broken. Dead bugs and dirt on the window seals. The down stairs sliding glass door is VERY hard to open and close. Didn’t realize the up stairs and down stairs were connected by a tiny spiral staircase in a “closet”. If you wanted to go up/down you had to use the outside stairs, definitely needs some stairs inside to connect the floors. The house was defiantly big enough and fit all 14 of us!

The view are unbelievable, the weather was great, the water was beautiful, the beach was amazing, the house is great but LOTS OF STAIRS... lots I mean lots lol BUT worth every trip up and down them and of course before we left the water got rough and we saw why so many steps are needed on the treasure on daulphin island. The fishing was awesome too... best place on the island to fish was right off our own seawall...

We had a wonderful time at Shamrock Shores. This house is perfect for a large group. The location could not have been better, its the last house on the island. There is a seawall around the house and my husband and kids, had a great time fishing from the wall. We enjoyed our morning and nightly walks, to the far west end of the island ( no houses). We did not find any issues with in the house and the kitchens were well appointed. Having 2 kitchens and 2 separate living areas allowed us to have a 2 family vacation, family vacation, without being on top of each other. The house was very clean upon arrival and access to the property was easy. Booking and communication was a breeze. We plan to make this our new go to spot on the island, have already reserved for next year. Can't wait to return to this great property and make more memories

Myself and my siblings were having a reunion for the first time in many years. The space was good, the sheets on two beds apparently were not laundered as there was sand in the beds, the pillows and some of the mattresses were in need of replacing, two of the bar stools were broken, the bed heights in the two master bedrooms were too high for short people and the sofa in the lower level is in need of replacement. I requested 2 stools and they delivered them the next day. I would not rent this home again due to the deferred maintenance. Brenda Webb
