Serenity place. Relax in a semi rural setting 18 mile from Acadia National Park

Very clean and secluded. Close to the Park and Bar Harbor.

Nestled in a quiet wooded area, the cottage is comfortable and clean with WiFi and Roku. Kitchen is well stocked though I would suggest a toaster oven be added. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay a few days (or weeks). I’d book it again.

The only thing negative is the bright blinking sensor light outside It blinds you when it is dark outside

It was somewhat a weird experience. Read this. The morning of my arrival I had to contact the property owner to give me the address and instructions of how to get into the house. He only gave the address. Guess what? He gave me a wrong address. An non existing house number on a street close by. After waiting almost 30 minutes going back and forth on this street a neighbor with a flashlight came out of the house and asked me what was wrong and he pointed a house on this close by street where people know from different cars and people staying there. That might be the house you’re looking for he said. Different street name and a different house number. So I contacted the owner of the house to asked him for the door code. Weird don’t you agree?

The property was exceptionally clean and quiet. Check-in was easy and beds/furniture are very comfortable. Would have given a perfect rating, but the amenities did not include a clothes washer/dryer.

Very clean and comfortable. The cottage was conveniently located close to downtown Ellsworth and just a short drive to Acadia. We had a great stay. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

The property was exactly as described in the VRBO directory. Steve, our host, was quick to respond to the few questions we had. Everything functioned properly. The disappointment we experienced was not with the property, but with the National Park Service. Acadia National Park and its unique features was over-utilized and seriously overcrowded. This is no different than other National Parks we have recently visited. We had a better time visiting the western side of Mt. Desert Island! The city of Bar Harbor did not want exploring tourists, they just wanted your money! 4 an hour for on-street parking? 40 for a single lobster roll at the local eateries? Ridiculous!

My friends and I had a great stay. The property was very clean and the close proximity to Acadia was very convenient.

Great location…Convenient for our plans. Roomy. Enjoyed 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Well stocked kitchen. Thought mattresses could be upgraded…especially in the room with twin beds.

The property was as described, as it was far away from the main road so not to have any road noise. The best thing was being able to spread out after being on the road and that there was a great place to eat close by. The only thing I would have wanted was an on site laundry but I found a nice one in town.

Nice quiet little property on a dead end road. Clean, very accessible location. Lots of extras, would have liked to do laundry is my only complaint.

This was our second year in s row staying here. We liked it last year but this year was great due to some minor improvements. Who knows, maybe next yrar too

Perfect quiet and comfortable place to stay while exploring Acadia and Bar Harbour. It had everything our family of four needed for our stay. Ellsworth is a great town as well-we highly recommend Momo’s cheesecakes while staying here!

Very nice home to come back to after hiking. Private and spacious. Josie’s cafe at the end of the street is highly recommended!

Overall great experience. Would recommend some shelving for toiletries in second bathroom. Very tight for 2 adults. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves!

Clean and comfortable, came exactly as advertised. Wonderful location and easy to find your way to things in Ellsworth or to Bangor or Acadia. I highly recommend and will definitely look to check its availability when we’re back in the area!

Clean and quiet. Nicely decorated. Ample hot water; good pressure. However, the very soft foam mattress in the main bedroom is not for everyone. Would still recommend.

Property is on a quite side street easy to find. Has good aminities and just up the street from a cafe with good eats. Was a good home base for our activities in Bar Harbor/Acadia

We were quite comfortable in the house surrounded by trees (with gorgeous colors in Oct.) and delighted to find that Ellsworth is the perfect starting point to all places on the coast and Acadia National Park.

Spacious cabin feel home, quiet and with a car ideal spot to explore nearby Acadia National Park and nearby town of Ellsworth and other areas nearby.

We stayed here while visiting Acadia for a few days. House was very clean and furnishings were all modern. Complete, clean kitchen. Surroundings were quiet. Located very convenient to the town of Ellsworth; town was just a few minutes away. We were able to go to Acadia all day and this was a nice home base to return to. Internet and TV worked perfectly, ideal for chilling out after a full day of hiking. Would stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Great location just outside Ellsworth and near Acadia NP. Owner was very responsive answering my questions. All four of us loved the unit. We may be back next summer.

It was a great stay at Steven's property. The twin beds might need a new mattress/topper, but the master bed room was excellent! It was close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and we had the best meal at Helens Restaurant. Would definitely come again!

We very much enjoyed our stay; basic, clean, great host, near to Acadia National Park, the Maine Coast as well as Bangor. Ellsworth is a neat small town with lots of local non- franchise eateries, LL Bean outlet and even a Wally World (Wal Mart). We would stay there again.
