Serene lakefront retreat with an expansive deck, dock access, game room, & AC

The house was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It felt very secluded even though there were houses nearby. We wish that there was more living room seating for six adults so that one of us wasn’t sitting on a dining room chair or the floor. It took us some time to figure out how to unlock the kitchen door to the deck and never was able to open the doors in the living room. All in all, those few things would not keep us from staying here again and we look forward to staying here again our annual girls trip.

The house is nice, with a good layout for being together - and having private space. Good sized kitchen. Two eating areas inside. But too many things need updating - especially the outside decks and waterfront - for it to get a 5 rating.

The house was great. It was exactly what we needed. The only negative was their selection of cooking utensils, but that seems to be the case in most rentals.

The home is beautiful and has great view of the lake. The doors to the deck need knew locks as tgey were unable to open. The door ti the deck from kitchen opened up and failed to relock. This was unable to be fixed during our stay. There was suppose to be a property manager call us on Saturday and Sunday from Vacasa is who we had to deal with after we rented the home with VRBO. Vacasa dropped the ball on this rental.us.issues.

Overall-great location, house, view, things to do, and space! Would add some window coverings, edit the house guide as the password is not correct and the locking up directions are confusing. The deck is great, the dock needs updating. We had a chirping smoke alarm and they fixed it quickly. Thanks for a fun stay!

This home needs a lot of basic maintenance and updates. Sliding screen doors are warped and torn and fall out of their track. There is a fireplace but no fireplace tools. There is a small boat but no oars. There is no furniture on the lake level deck. Indoor furniture is old and not comfortable. It isn’t really set up to be a great vacation experience which is disappointing because of its great location and water views.

This is a great place for some quite time.

When calculating the price. It’s an easy 11/10. If you’re a complainer you could complain. Extremly spacious, could use more funiture. Paint peeling on the deck. Doors to deck were janky. Could sleep 8 or more if they wanted to set it up that way. Biggest issue was the WiFi not having correct password and couldn’t get it figured out. However, factor in the price and the experience was EXCELLENT! Very clean, vacuumed, soap and shampoo provided. Highly recommended and would definitely stay with again. Very inexpensive to split four ways. On the water. Great experience

Spacious, comfortable home. We loved relaxing on the back deck overlooking the water.

Home is a nice, located in a good location. The deck needs to be redone as it’s in poor condition. The steps to the water access are the same. Skylights show signs of leaking water and the master bedroom shows signs of mildew/mold around the floor vent and door leading to the balcony. Ping pong table in the listing was missing a paddle, tv in the master bedroom didn’t work, spare bedroom didn’t have curtains over the window, holes in the wall from previous curtain rod holder. Master bedroom bathroom window didn’t have a curtain or blinds to provide privacy from the neighbors. These things may not bother many but it wasn’t what we expected.

Our family loved the Big Blue Lakehouse! The house is beautiful and spacious. We had a couple days of rain. The house feels so much like home. We didn’t mind being stuck inside. The kids loved the ping pong table. The view of the lake was so relaxing. Lots to do within 20 - 25 minutes away. Great place to stay!!

Location was great. Neighborhood was very quiet. House layout was excellent and kitchen was well furnished. Very comfortable house.
