Serene 1-Acre Retreat with Gourmet Kitchen - Grill, Alfresco Dining & Firepit

Private. Gorgeous forested property. Lovely fire pit area. Comfortable beds. Room for everyone. Spacious living areas and kitchen. Very very clean. Helpful and quick to respond host. No complaints!

We had a blast! Lovely property, and plenty of space for everyone to have fun and be comfortable. The house was very clean and tidy, and everything was ready when we needed it. The area is great too, so many fun things to do! Thanks for a great time!

This is a well maintained property and had everything we needed for the weekend.

The biggest issue was mouse poop in the kitchen cabinets and cookware. I communicated this to the property manager in response to a text from him and he NEVER replied to my text. This was a health hazard and was reported immediately but nobody came to clean it up for the whole stay. This was after also working with an agent to get fans to help rid the house of heavy smoke smell the day of check in. The fans were delivered via door dash but the cleaning issue was completely ignored. It was like a dark cloud over our whole vacation and we never felt comfortable using the kitchen.

The house we stayed in was beautiful but there was a definite lack of amenities. Five people for five days were left one roll of toilet paper per bathroom (there were three bathrooms), one roll of paper towels and three small trash bags. One shower was backed up and we had to take a shower in one foot of water and the freezer door would not shut properly. We happened to stay during a heat wave and there was only one small working fan. I contacted Vacasa about the availability of AC so they should have been aware of the heat wave and lack of cooling in the house but there was nothing done on their end to provide additional fans. Also, I booked this house through VRBO, then Turn Key took over and finally Vacasa with no explanation.

Overall good Check in was not easy due to code did not work so we used the lockbox

The home is beautiful! The kitchen was very well stocked for all the cooking we did, such a welcome change over hotel life (having to eat on someone else’s schedule). We made good use of the grill!

I hosted a family reunion and needed a place for some of the family to stay close by. This place looked beautiful and I was excited for them to stay there.....Worst check in process I have experienced when renting a home! The email gave the wrong code to get in (it was off by one digit come to find out). Thankfully we were able to call Vacasa and they gave us a contractors box code, but then IT DIDN'T WORK. My extended family headed to the home around 10pm and it was pitch black out with no exterior lights, at all! Not very welcoming. Low and behold there were 2 contracts boxes so I had to call Vacasa again and finally we were able to get a code to get into the home. The main floor definiltey has a slight smell of cigarette smoke, but my family was able to look past that and enjoyed their stay! Then the next day they realized they couldn't find any toilet paper in the home! They opened every cabinet, closet etc. that they could and there was ZERO toilet paper....not ok. I had them bring some rolls from my personal home.....finally on the last day as they were checking out they instructions said to start a load of towels and there was ZERO detergent anywhere. Long story short when you pay for a home for a weekend you expect better. The home is lovely with nice updates, but I am sad to report there were some large and minor things that really should not have happened.

Peaceful but close to any amenity you'd want.

The place was great and clean. Lots of space. The only thing we would have loved more information toward Wi-Fi and perhaps surrounding area. A book with the process would have been great so we didn’t have to keep going to email. Also we could not locate the remote to TV. Other than that the place was beautiful, clean, quiet, great location, and super fun!
