Stayed Oct 21, 2024The property was adequate for our needs. Communication with onsite manager was smooth. Two points - this property was a duplex, which was not disclosed. Also, though I asked specifically about construction in the neighborhood, I was not told that a new home was being built next door to the property. This detracted from the peaceful getaway we had planned.

Stayed Apr 20, 2022The property was clean and adequate. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night of the two nights we paid for due to the snow storm that came our way. I didn't have chains, and couldn't risk getting stuck on the narrow, curvy roads! The only problem we had of the 12 hours we were there was that the circuit breakers tripped. First downstairs, and then upstairs in the bedroom. The outlets did not work, so no lamp and had to charge phone and computer in the main living room. Also, wifi and satellite tv was pretty weak and intermittent.

Stayed Feb 20, 2022The property was clean and of an ideal size for a family of 4. The fact that it is located within the Yosemite National Park saves a lot of time when going to visit the Valley or going to Badger Pass Ski (15 minutes drive for both unless snowy). An advantage of the property is that the parking is at the same level as the main entrance. May seem like a little thing, but when it snows and it becomes icy, you can see the advantage over the neighbour's houses. There were warnings on the effectiveness of the Satellite Internet access but I must say that it was acceptable, only when it snowed would the connectivity be broken, on sunny, non-windy, days it was good for e-mail and reading news. Bring all the food, and drinks, you need for your stay as the closest stores or restaurants are either in Wawona or at the Yosemite Valley Centre.

Stayed Aug 29, 2020We thoroughly enjoyed evenings on the deck in the pleasant weather. The cabin / rooms were spacious enough to provide a comfortable stay. The kitchen not big enough for more than two ;-), but no problems preparing meals. The only hiccup we encountered - on day one, first full day of stay, were not able to get in touch with maintenance for extra wash clothes / hand towels / dish towels and place could use some real potholders. Lack of AC was a hinderance, place does provide fans.

Stayed Jun 18, 2018Quiet and comfortable; with fully equipped kitchens, lots of beds, the house was clean and well organized, with enough towels for everyone, 8 of us slept comfortably. Great sunset views!. The common area in the main floor is small for the number of beds, it fits 6 people comfortably. The lower deck is spacious, the main floor deck a bit small. Being inside the park is definitely a plus! Internet was better than expected and we were able to watch the World Cup on cable.

Stayed Jun 4, 2018Great place for a large family or 2 - 3 couples to spend several days while visiting Yosemite. Quiet lovely community just outside the park, away from the traffic and crowds of the Valley. New, clean, well-equipped. Eat in or grill and eat on the large deck. Wifi is sketchy. We didn't contact the office to see if they could resolve our issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Apr 2, 2018This is a very nice home for families visiting Yosemite since you are inside the park off route 41 and the proximity to Yosemite Valley - where everything begins - is close -20 -30 minutes. It’s a breathtaking drive passing; Overlook - photo opts change hourly; Bridalveil Falls, which is a quick 5 minute hike to experience (rain gear recommended) the falls; Ribbon Falls, Yosemite Falls and El Capitan. The house itself has all the pans, and dishes and a nice gas grill you might need to make meals with the exception of glasswear - could invest in some medium/small sized glasses. Suggestion would be to bring all provisions although there is a nice grocery in the Valley along with several restaurants including the Yosemite National Hotel - a must to visit and enjoy a beverage on the lawn after a day of hiking. Enjoy your visit. ;

Stayed Aug 18, 2017Loved the weekend being able to stay inside Yosemite Park. The home was comfortable and loved the deck. Parking was easy with a large driveway. Wildfires were burning about 20 miles from the property, so it was smokey. Wish there was air conditioning and not just fans because it was warm. Also, we came prepared to bbq with food to grill and the bbq didn't get hot enough to use. No washer and dryer. Overall a great weekend with family and beautiful terrain, views and hiking.
