The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the Red Rocks on the outskirts of Sedona, Elmerville is a quiet neighborhood that strikes a perfect balance. While being a mere 5-minute drive away from the bustling shops, cafes, and restaurants of West Sedona, it also provides a secluded and remote feel, allowing residents to enjoy the tranquility of their surroundings.

Getting Around:
For most guests, a car is necessary when staying with us. Lyft and Uber are avaialble but are sparse and can be difficult to find at odd times of the day. Sedona does have taxi services that you can arrange ahead of time. There is also public transportation, however, the nearest stop is about 2 miles away.

Other Things to Note:
Our nearest neighbors are about 120 ft from the house. We're about the same difference from the main road leading into our neighborhood. You can expect to hear cars passing by. Families traveling with children should also take caution and ensure kids are not playing in front of the house.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: All guests are required to complete a simple identity verification before check-in. During this process, you’ll choose between a $35 non-refundable damage waiver or a $1,000 refundable security hold. This works just like a hotel front desk asking for ID and a security deposit—only ours is online and takes just a few minutes on your phone. We do not make money from this; the fee goes directly toward insuring the stay against damage. This step helps protect both our guests and the property so everyone can enjoy a smooth stay.

Our family stayed at this property for our first visit to Sedona. There were 3 adults and our 18 month old. The property was beyond perfect for our needs. We initially booked this because it had a pack n play/travel bed for our child to sleep in....however it far exceeded our expectations. The child's space was absolutely perfect for our 18 month old to not only play in, but also sleep in while still being in our room but having a door to keep noise out when we were still up. The location also couldn't have been any better! We were close enough to town and hiking that anything we wanted to do was only a 5-20 minute drive. But you were also far enough out, where you weren't in the middle of a bunch of tourist or neighbors. The area was quiet, beautiful, and felt so safe. As a bonus, we got to watch the hot air balloons take off every morning, just outside our bedroom windows. Lastly, the amenities included with the house were great. From a fully stocked kitchen, use of the garage, to the hot tub on the patio, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend making time at least 1 night to sit in the hot tub under the stars; you will not be disappointed. We are already planning a trip back!

Stayed here for a girls’ getaway and it was the perfect choice! The home was spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, nicely decorated bedrooms, and super comfy beds and pillows. The living room had plenty of space for our small group to relax and hang out. Morning coffee in the backyard while watching the sunrise—and the hummingbirds and scrub jays visit—was such a treat. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip!

This house is beautiful. It feels mid-century modern with a southwest flare. Lots of natural light. The beds are a bit low but extremely comfortable.. This is the place for you if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, it’s still close enough to get to the grocery store and anything else you may need in five minutes. Very close to red rock State Park. You must go there and see the hummingbird feeders and the other birdfeeders,The hot tub is a nice touch after hiking all day, it was very clean. The house was also extremely clean. The backyard has wonderful flowers that attract tons of hummingbirds and other wildlife. I suggest to go to PetSmart in town and pick up hummingbird clear food and no mess woodpecker food. There is a flat feeder in the yard next to a water bowl that you should fill. Having coffee, watching the birds inside or out was the best! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful property.
