    Location was good and it was easy to get around Melbourne from there. It was a well equipped neat apartment. However communicated wasn’t great from the host. There was a note left about a plumber needing to attend the property, yet we never heard more about this and no plumber showed up. The property was cleanish but there were dirty dishes in the cupboards, food in the fridge and old soap bars and toothbrushes in the bathrooms. There were also personal items such as clothing in the cupboards. It felt like we were staying in someone else’s house as opposed to a guest house

    It was amazing really enjoyed the stay, the owner was amazing and sweet. Had no issue whatsoever was smooth and words can’t describe how much happier I was with this stay there are a bit of stairs however nothing that won’t make u go up and down it it was fun and amazing the place was clean and tidy and sweet

    Great location in south yarra. A few metres from a woolworths and trams into the city. It could fit 2 x cars (landcruiser and outlander) in the garage.It slept 8 x people.When we arrived, it was evident the place needed cleaning. The floors (carpet and floorboards) were really dirty. We found 3 vacumn cleaners, but none worked. The towels provided in one of the rooms had the musky smell where they were once wet, then folded. We ended up buying new towels. Renovations poorly done (questionable whether its to standards). Ie. Loose bathroom floor tiles, toilets not fixed to the ground, basins not fixed to the bench/vanity, carpet loosly rolled onto existing floor and not secured. BBQ missing plates. Obvious water leaks on the ceiling near the front door. No exhaust fans or ventilation in ensuite.

    The host was great to deal with. His cleaner was not able to attend so he had to clean the place himself and a few things were not 100% but was still tidy and clean overall. Bathroom setup is a little odd, as the two showers are both in bedrooms making it a bit odd for those staying in the third bedroom to enter other people's rooms to shower. No toilet upstairs where the main living space is so if up and down the stairs is an issue for you just be aware. Overall please with our stay.

    Absolutely fantastic location!We fit two Mitsubishi Outlanders in the off-street garage, so rare for such a location.The facilities were mostly good, but you can tell the property is past its prime. Don't let this stop you though, this is a great place to stay, with so much room for everyone.

    We had the best time staying so central to everything in Melbourne city and surrounds. It felt very Comfortable and was a great base to go here and there from. Would defintely return. The location was awesome.

    Location was good. Host promptly answered questions prior to visit. Beds seemed clean.Not suitable for people with small children, dust allergies, low mobility or if you want to host others for dinner or a coffee.On arrival bench and table were sticky and had crumbs, the living area floor was dirty and needed sweeping. There were old lemons in the fridge. The dust on the TV cabinet and a/c vents were noticeably thick. An extra lounge has been squeezed onto the top floor making it cluttered and uncomfortable for 6 people. The dead bamboo plants in the light well gave off a faint rotting smell, doors had to be left open to stop the smell building up. Balcony chairs were usable but the plants were neglected, making the spaces cluttered and unpleasant to use. The BBQ hot plates were not in place and dirty. The kitchen was well equipped.Some towels smelt of body odour and needed washing. On the middle level a heater didn't work, and other heaters were very dusty To use the air con I had to find the distribution board down stairs and the switch the circuit on. The bottom weight baring timber of the picture frame hung over the master bedhead had been repaired with tape. This was in sufficient and the acrylic panel came out of the frame and hang over the occupants' heads while they slept (we took it down).On the ground floor a chair collapsed on a 6 year old, leaving them with a grazed leg and the bottom bathroom is really only a toilet. The cistern leaked onto the floor.

    The location was great and check in was very easy. The apartment is very spacious. The 3 flights of stairs might get a bit much if staying more than a few nights.The floors and surfaces were not clean. I had to clean the kitchen, The downstairs toilet was grubby and broken. I informed the host and they said a plumber couldn’t be called until the Monday. The tap for the cistern had to be turned off to stop the noise of refilling. The whole place is in good clean.wdiok to use.

    Property probably more suited to a younger cohort- lots of stairs. Crockery, surface areas and floors not particularly clean - lucky we had a professional cleaner with us. Hot water ran out after 3 showers- we are from the country so we don’t have long showers as we understand how precious water is. No tea towels and we couldn’t find any tablets for the dishwasher.

    The location is great. The place however was dirty, the sheets had crumbs all through it and stains. We didn’t have hot water for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed which was extremely uncomfortable. The house was undergoing renovations, this was not made clear in any description or photos on the Stayz ad. There were holes in the walls, bathroom fixtures not properly installed, and there was food from previous guests left on the couch. Apologies if this is a blunt review but we were shocked. We had contacted the owner but had no response. I won’t be booking this place again.

    We stayed in this property with my family which included young children. The host pre-arranged baby gates for us to help baby-proof the property which was greatly appreciated. The check-in and check-out process was great, thanks to the host. Excellent location for anyone’s stay in Melbourne. A few property features could do with an update, e.g. we had some issues with the hot water/bathrooms Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought it was a good value property.
