Secluded Riverfront Getaway

We have had multi family gatherings for over 10 years now, this house had one of the best kitchens we have experienced. Double oven, double dishwasher and large surface range made meal prep and clean up a snap! Beautiful setting on the Black River and property with space made our stay great. Our host communicated very well, we we never left guessing, they have also put a very nice local information book that was very useful for planing outings. Great views of the river from any spot in the house.

Immaculate house with updated features. Loved that it was well stocked with kitchen supplies even seasonings which I forgot. My only suggestion is to repair the tennis court which had so many large cracks it was difficult to play

This was a great house! I’m not sure what I can add that other reviews haven’t already said. There is a reason this house has so many 5 star reviews. There’s plenty of space for multiple families to spread out without feeling on top of each other. The huge basement was perfect for our kids to play in, and the house itself was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen.The outdoor space is tremendous, with beautiful landscaping that makes it even more inviting. We especially enjoyed the tennis court, which we used several evenings for pickleball with the kids. The court is on the older side with several large cracks, so if you’re a serious player it’s a bit tough to play on—but for the kids, it was perfect.We did have a minor issue with water pressure on our first day, but I texted the owner and they had someone out right away to fix it—great communication and responsiveness.It’s also in a great location, just a quick 15–20 minute drive to South Haven.

The manager/owner was so nice and the property was incredible! Short drive to civilization but the property felt like we were the only people for miles. Best of both worlds!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The property is stunning—secluded, peaceful, and full of great amenities that made our trip unforgettable. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a fantastic game room in the basement that kept the teenagers entertained for hours. The giant fire pit outside was perfect for cozy evenings under the stars, and we loved having a tennis/basketball court on-site for some active fun.Inside the house, we were impressed by the convenience of having two ovens and two dishwashers, which made meal prep and cleanup a breeze for our large group. The location was also ideal, with just a short drive to South Beach for easy access to the water and local attractions.Overall, this home provided everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet fun-filled retreat!

Our family spent a long Thanksgiving in the home. Plenty of space and the kitchen worked wonderfully.The games downs stairs were a great hit and the location between twins was extremely convenient.

Beautiful house, beautiful setting. Weekend getaway with my family, played ALOT of ping pong, cards, & watched football! Weather was nice enough for us to also use the tennis courts & basketball hoop!! Kitchen is fully stocked, used grill for a nice steak dinner!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for some fun family time!!

Visited with a group of old friends. The place is absolutely amazing. Quiet, clean and secluded. Will be back for sure. Close to all needs!

Abundance of views, features and indoor and outdoor activities.

Our family gathered from different areas in Ohio and Michigan for a last summer get away before kids were back to school and some of us back to work. This home was so, so beautiful. Close to the fun and business of South Haven and Saugatuck, but a great, quiet oasis to return to. I’ve seen other reviews saying, “we wished we lived here” and I couldn’t agree more! I love this stay and would absolutely return. No complaints at all.

This property was fabulous! The indoor and outdoor spaces at this property are perfect for a group to just relax and enjoy. Plenty of room for the 9 of us golfers and within 20 minutes of several top notch golf courses.

Great place for a family reunion. Lots of space inside and out and plenty of games provided. Don't miss the Elegant Farmer pies available at the Dutch Farm Market.

This property worked perfectly for our many day trips or a day at home. We had more than enough room and enjoyed the many activity options available. My family is already asking when we can return.

The thing my family loved most about this house was the sheer size!!! We all wished we lived in a house this big at home. A lot of time was spent at the house playing games both indoors and out, grilling, and eating supper and having morning coffee on the patio. We spent time in both South Haven and Sagutuk as the property was conveniently located between both towns. The managers were very responsive to my requests and the house had most everything we could need. My only recommedation for guests is to bring extra towels so that you have enough for everyone in your crew. Also, note that the back porch doors push open very easily, so if you have dogs or small children, they can easily push the doors open and be on the pack patio and beyond.Highly recommend this property for your family vacation!
